Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Fife.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF and Gas Safe registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, Which and Checkatrade giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.

My sister discovered a leak at her house and Allied were first company that picked up on Trusted Trader for an emergency call out. Efficient and helpful from the outset, the engineers (Liston and Keiren) came within the first half our of the 2.5 hour window we were given and they got straight to it. They sorted the initial leak quickly and well, then checked for and found two others - which weren't immediately obvious - also fixing those efficiently and well, and in less than ideal circumstances. Friendly, efficient, and tidy professionals. Costs were very reasonable and were as indicated at the outset. Would definitely use again, and am very happy and willing to recommend.

I had old radiators replaced. Allied completed the work for a fair price and were very efficient. Customer service was excellent. I have recommended Allied to various friends and family and all have been impressed by their work and customer care.

I discovered a leak at our central heating boiler which is fitted in the loft. I called Allied this morning and Cameron visited this afternoon, quickly diagnosed the fault and fitted a new washer. Very clean and tidy, good value for money and very happy to recommend, will certainly use them again in the future.

Fantastic ensuite refurb by the Allied team. They were helpful & responsive, even from before the job started.
So clean and tidy while on the job, you wouldn't know they'd been there when they left each evening.
Great attention to detail which I really appreciated, as did the tiler they sub-contracted.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to refresh their bathroom. Worth every penny

Leak in central heating system, located in chimney breast. Repair and reinstatement was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this company and will use them whenever I need a plumber or heating engineer.

Allied Trade have just completed work on our drainage system. All members of the team (owner, engineers, office staff) were extremely helpful and professional. They liaised with Building Standards to ensure the work carried out passed all requirements, giving us peace of mind. All costs were explained up front - there were no hidden costs. Work was completed within the time frame stated to a high standard. They left the site tidy at the end of each working day. We used Allied for this job as they installed our bathroom a few years back and we were very happy with their work then, so went back to them as we knew we could trust them. Very happy! We will definitely use this company again, and recommend them to others.

Excellent work from Cameron and the team ( Robert, Graham, Ged etc ) outstanding. Would highly recommended the company for any work required. Not the first time we gave used them and would always go back. Big job in the renovation of our bathroom and delighted with finished product.

Our former plumber recommended this firm when we woke to no heat or hot water on a Saturday morning. Good communication, prompt response, helped sort us out in no time, did not recommend a more expensive repair. Happy to use again.

I had Allied come out twice in 2 weeks for two separate issues. Both times they arrived within the specified time slot. The first issue was related to the boiler. The problem was quickly identified and a part was ordered and later fitted. The second issue was a leak to the toilet. On initial inspection the job looked to be a quick replacement of a washer but on further investigation there was a crack - the plumber had the parts on him and the job was completed. Both plumbers were polite and professional. Would recommend.

Excellent service all round. From initial visit re quote through to conclusion of works.... prompt, courteous, tidy. All old material removed. Competitively priced. Company recommended by two dog walking friends who had used recently. No hesitation in using again for any future heating/plumbing requirements.

Been using for a number of years to complete annual boiler service on my Worcester Bosch boiler. The guys are always friendly and they leave the place neat and tidy when they are done. Good local firm too, which I prefer to support over corporate multinationals.

Phoned and got a response the same day. And from this an appointment for a worker to visit to assess the heating system issue. The cost was clearly set out during this conversation and a back up email with details.
The worker was friendly and professional. Keeping us involved as to what he was doing to check out why the heating system is not working as it should. And at end gave us his assessment of the issue. Pleased with the service and would recommend.
