Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Fife.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF and Gas Safe registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, Which and Checkatrade giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.

My air source pump had a possible water flow issue. Causing both heating and hot water issues.
After a first appointment the problem was identified. A price given with a break down of this.
Arrived on the day within the time agreed. The worker kept us involved in what they were doing to sort this long standing issue out.
I consider I received a professional and friendly service. And would recommend.
And the air source heat pump system is working as it should.

We had issues with our radiators not working properly. Allied came and did an initial investigation and then set out the works required to fix the issue. Communication was clear and the tradesmen all arrived on time. Unfortunately the initial power flush and new pump didn't seem to rectify the problem. However, there was no hesitation on them coming back to do further investigation. They decided the system required a larger pump and our radiators are now working as they should. The tradesmen were all very professional and provide a high standard of work. We had used Allied several times before this and will do so again in the future.

Had two chaps from Allied round to re-hang two radiators on the wall and re-pressurise the system. They discovered a few other problems along the way and managed to fix them too. Great service, would definitely use again.

I contacted Allied through a recommendation and they were great. A cowboy tradesman left me in a mess with a renovation and Allied comprehensively sorted all the plumbing and gas work to a very high standard. Extremely good on communication and running through options before going ahead with any piece of the job. A nice bunch of guys, trustworthy and get the job done to a high standard. Would highly recommend!

I have used Allied Trade for years. They are always professional, prompt and reasonably priced. No point in calling anyone else if you have plumbing or boiler issues.

We have now been using Allied Trade services for a number of years to service our boiler and check our gas hob. From making the appointment to the service we have received in our home we have always found the staff to be professional, reliable and extremely helpful. We feel that we are getting excellent value for money.

Allied made some changes to the several years old installation of a condensing boiler installed by another. The flu meant water coming down my outside wall and the drain was not fitted with correct pipe nor a soak away. Allied quoted me and i thought it reasonable so proceeded. The member of staff was very patient, a good and clean worker. It took a little longer than planned, needing to get a part, but the job was completed very satisfactorily. I have used them before on another property and found them thorough, helpful and they turn up when they say they will. Charges are reasonable.

Low water pressure problem. The plumber who attended was a very polite, helpful young man who explained and showed me what the problem was and what he had done to fix it, excellent service !

Recently had a boiler safety check and leaks under the sink repaired. Plumber (Grant) turned up on time and completed all jobs without any fuss. Receptionist (Chloe) also very helpful. Would recommend if you need a reliable plumber.

I was fortunate to be given an appointment on the day I phoned . A very pleasant receptionist dealt with my query.
Ryan arrived within the allotted time slot . He assessed the leaking pipe joint problem ,and advised me what the issue was before replacing the faulty parts.
So far , so good !
