Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Scottish Borders.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF, Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, and Which giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester -Bosch accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. Other services we provide are Drain unblocking, heat pump servicing and Installation. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

Low water pressure problem. The plumber who attended was a very polite, helpful young man who explained and showed me what the problem was and what he had done to fix it, excellent service !

Allied made some changes to the several years old installation of a condensing boiler installed by another. The flu meant water coming down my outside wall and the drain was not fitted with correct pipe nor a soak away. Allied quoted me and i thought it reasonable so proceeded. The member of staff was very patient, a good and clean worker. It took a little longer than planned, needing to get a part, but the job was completed very satisfactorily. I have used them before on another property and found them thorough, helpful and they turn up when they say they will. Charges are reasonable.

I was fortunate to be given an appointment on the day I phoned . A very pleasant receptionist dealt with my query.
Ryan arrived within the allotted time slot . He assessed the leaking pipe joint problem ,and advised me what the issue was before replacing the faulty parts.
So far , so good !

An emergency call-out for a choked sink/basin late Friday afternoon, dealt with quickly, efficiently, and courteously. It was expensive due to the call-out fee, so I suspect an pre-arranged appointment would be better value for money. I am unlikely to recommend this specific service, but I would use the company again.
