Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Scottish Borders.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF, Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, and Which giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester -Bosch accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. Other services we provide are Drain unblocking, heat pump servicing and Installation. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

Fantastic communication and very competent, skilled staff. Did an excellent job identifying an issue with the temperature of my water and replacing the thermostatic plate in my boiler as a result - would definitely recommend.

I had a leaking radiator repaired and new pipes installed. Also had HIVE controllers fitted to the radiators. Plumber arrived at the time given, was very polite and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. Tidied up on completion. Very happy with service received.

I had old radiators replaced. Allied completed the work for a fair price and were very efficient. Customer service was excellent. I have recommended Allied to various friends and family and all have been impressed by their work and customer care.

I discovered a leak at our central heating boiler which is fitted in the loft. I called Allied this morning and Cameron visited this afternoon, quickly diagnosed the fault and fitted a new washer. Very clean and tidy, good value for money and very happy to recommend, will certainly use them again in the future.

Very impressed with Allied trade plumbing and heating, as in most recommendations it comes down to the people that actually perform the work. The engineer Grant who performed the work was a true professional and a credit to Allied plumbing.

I have used Allied Trade for years. They are always professional, prompt and reasonably priced. No point in calling anyone else if you have plumbing or boiler issues.

We were extremely happy with the work undertaken- new toilet and cistern unit and new radiator. We received the quote very promptly after the initial visit. The work was done soon afterwards. The engineer arrived at the time alloted. We had a small problem with the pressure the next day. They sent out the same engineer ; , he arrived exactly the time they arranged with us . He identified the problem and fixed it . He was a very pleasant young man . He tidied and cleaned up afterwards. We would certainly use Allied Trade again. .

The tradesmen arrived on time, as agreed, and quickly assessed the situation (we had water ingress to the space under our house). They also investigated a couple of other contributing factors and cleared a blocked downpipe.
Friendliness and professionalism were excellent, as was the service and communication from Tamara, the Office Administrator.

It was just annual boiler service but the young engineer was fantastic. Im really sorry to forget his name but the man was very kind, punctual, dedicated and knowledgeable. Explained me what he does and answered all the questions i asked. He checked everything (also inhibitor test for a small fee), showed me what was done and left the place very clean. Contact and communication with the office was also perfect from the start to the end. This company really deserves 5 star:)

Been using for a number of years to complete annual boiler service on my Worcester Bosch boiler. The guys are always friendly and they leave the place neat and tidy when they are done. Good local firm too, which I prefer to support over corporate multinationals.

Boiler service and some remedial work that hadn’t been completed by another person when the boiler was fitted.
The work was carried out quickly by friendly workmen who explained what was required and completed. The office staff were also friendly and helpful to deal with.
I would recommend this company and will be using them for next years boiler service.

Had them out to check new homes c/h system. Very efficient. Clean tidy and smart. 2nd job replacing some copper pipes. As plastic ones had been used and looked awful. Pipes perfectly straight now. Again efficient clean and did a great job. Getting whole bathroom spruced up and tiled next as we are very happy with the high level of service. Very accommodating to us adding things on as we think of/ notice more jobs to be done.

I found a leak under my bath on Sunday evening. I phoned Allied Trade first thing on Monday at 8.30am and they said they would have someone out to look at it the same morning. The plumber and his apprentice arrived an hour later. Although it was a very fiddly job (limited space under the bath) they persevered, found the problem and fixed it. They explained to me exactly what the issue was. When making final checks to ensure the leak had been completely fixed, they discovered the silicone sealant round the bath was failing, so they re-did this as well. Allied Trade have done a variety of jobs for me over the years and I have always found them to be helpful, punctual, pleasant to deal with and efficient. I have complete confidence in their services and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Recently had a boiler safety check and leaks under the sink repaired. Plumber (Grant) turned up on time and completed all jobs without any fuss. Receptionist (Chloe) also very helpful. Would recommend if you need a reliable plumber.
