I discovered two roof tiles had slipped down in the recent storms. Whilst I contacted several firms, only Mark from Musselburgh Slaters replied within a few hours. The work was completed within 36 hours of me contacting this firm. Prompt, courteous service. Will be my first port of call in the unlucky event I need future roof repairs.

Our roof was badly damaged by storm Arwen and required emergency repairs. We contacted Musselburgh Slaters and they agreed to fit us into their already tight schedule.
They arrived promptly the next again morning and completed the repairs before lunch time. They also repaired other areas which were defective before the storm at no extra cost.

Mark organised the complete re- cementing of our main roof ridge tiles as well the extension, also cleaning the guttering and removing moss. We were very impressed with the way that all the work was carried out absolutely at the times arranged and completely to our satisfaction. From start to finish Mark and his team were very punctual and unfailingly pleasant and helpful even doing a couple of extra small jobs. Mark did an excellent job identifying the problem with my roof and fixing it after another "reputable" roofing company failed to fix it in three visits!
He was great in turning up, providing a quote, completing the fix in half the time originally suggested and then checking the repair when it next rained again.

I have used Mark and the team at Musselburgh Slaters for several jobs now, both at our own home and at my father’s. Jobs include: slate replacement; mending cracked harling; putting up anti-pigeon wire round eaves; replacing a perished, wooden fascia of a dormer window with more durable UPVC; stripping, pointing and harling a chimney; replacing guttering, fitting cowls to chimneys. In all cases the work was done to the highest standard and we were shown photos before, during and after the job and kept up to date with every stage of the process. Mark, Mitch and the team are very professional and also polite and good fun.

Broken slates changed, water plate repaired, gutters cleaned and vents inserted into roof space.

The guys arrived shortly after my call and were very polite, courteous and explained the repair in detail.
They carried the work out quickly with no disturbance and left no mess behind them.
Any future roof work I require,then musselburgh Slaters will be my first choice.

Excellent rough casting / Harling work by Mark & his team. Completed at the time stated and the cost stated.

Had some damage after Storm Eowyn, nothing major, 3 pieces of siding disappeared in the wind. Had trouble finding someone since it was such a small job.
Musselburgh Slaters got back to me quickly, and got the job done within a week.
They came across some other pieces that had been incorrectly fitted(new build house) and sorted them while they were up there.
Cost of the job was LESS than originally quoted and the roofers were great and left no mess.

Mark and his team completed an excellent job. Repairing/replacing/painting the eaves and new guttering to the rear of our property.
