We had the front of the house reharled with new gutters, soffits, and down pipes. They also fixed the lead flashing attached to the garage to prevent any future leaks. Mark and his team are a joy to have around with plenty of laughs. Mitch came up with a couple of ideas to finish off the look of the house which was really appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and you can leave them to it and they won’t let you down. Our neighbours have all commented on the finish and how hard working they all were. They cleaned up every day and left our property spotless. This is the third time we have used Musselburgh Slaters and have never been let down. A fair price for an excellent job. Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Mark and his team are an amazing company. They are so professional, and the cost was cheaper than I thought it could be, so a bonus. They replaced our rear guttering, as well as replacing the gutter & down pipe to the conservatory which was built around the late 1990’s, so quite old.
They also fixed a few slates which they noticed had become loose.
It gives me such peace of mind now every time it rains. Thank you mark and the guys for your great workmanship. I would thoroughly recommend this business to anyone.

Had some damage after Storm Eowyn, nothing major, 3 pieces of siding disappeared in the wind. Had trouble finding someone since it was such a small job.
Musselburgh Slaters got back to me quickly, and got the job done within a week.
They came across some other pieces that had been incorrectly fitted(new build house) and sorted them while they were up there.
Cost of the job was LESS than originally quoted and the roofers were great and left no mess.

Mark and his team did an excellent job from the initial estimate to the completed work which comprised a roof clean, tile replacement and repointing where required. The quality of work and the professionalism stood out as did their experience of working with tiles roofs. We are more than satisfied with the results and also appreciated the clean-up which was part of the service

Have used Musselburgh Slaters before and can’t see past these guys for an honest assessment and fair price and a good job. Had the rear of the house reharled and a minor leak fixed. Mitch and Ben are very friendly , hard working and nothing was too much trouble. This is a messy job but when everything was done they cleaned up and left the place spotless. Mark and his team are a pleasure to work with. We are delighted with the results and won’t hesitate to have them back.

I have used Mark and the team at Musselburgh Slaters for several jobs now, both at our own home and at my father’s. Jobs include: slate replacement; mending cracked harling; putting up anti-pigeon wire round eaves; replacing a perished, wooden fascia of a dormer window with more durable UPVC; stripping, pointing and harling a chimney; replacing guttering, fitting cowls to chimneys. In all cases the work was done to the highest standard and we were shown photos before, during and after the job and kept up to date with every stage of the process. Mark, Mitch and the team are very professional and also polite and good fun.

Mark arrived for the survey on time and emailed my quote that night. Work was completed on time and to a high standard. His team kept me updated on the progress at the end of each night. They left the work area spotless at the end of the job. I had all of the wooden sofits replaced with maintenance free upvc. The cost was slightly over budget but that was down to unforseen problems caused by my extension. I would highly recommend Mark and his team.
