John Evans Plastering & Roughcasting

Both John and his son, John, were excellent from start to finish.
I requested a quote from John as a result of the reviews I seen here and he got back to me quickly to arrange a visit to our property.
He arrived on time and fully discussed the options available to us- he wasn’t desperate to press ahead with the easiest or most expensive options but more interested in what would be best for us.
The minute he left we decided he was the man for the job!
John then sent us a quote, which was less than we were expecting and I got back to him to confirm. We then arrange a start date that was pretty soon after but suited us both.
In the run up we discussed the colour options and he offered his professional option, again not being pushy.
He then started a couple of weeks later and has produced excellent quality work: my uncle is also a plasterer and when I was discussed what John was doing he was saying that this is the proper or, sometimes harder, way to do it. Another tradesman singing his praises.
All of the work is spot on and everything was left tidy at the end of everyday.
I also asked him to undertake extra work, which both Johns were happy to do, as well as being reasonably priced.
Communication was excellent and so is their work ethic and quality of the job.
We will be getting the rooms in our house plastered soon and we will certainly be getting John in to do the work.

Their workmanship was second to none. We were on holiday for part of the time that the work was being carried out and John telephoned us every day to let us know the progress of the work. Not only did they do a first class job but they were extremely tidy workers.

John Evans did an excellent job of replacing the fascia boards and soffits as well as renewing the rough cast. We were kept informed at every stage of the job and on completion everything was tidied up and washed down. I highly recommend John!

Could not be more happier with the work John and his son did. From the moment they arrived they were really friendly, nothing was a bother they went out of there way to do everything, any time I queried anything I got a answer that I understood. John was very careful to listen to my specific needs and priorities for the job. He was very up front about waiting time until he was able to start. He also gave updates on start time as appropriate.
John gave notice of work commencement and met the timescale he had given. When work started he confirmed the work required and price. The work was completed in good time and to an excellent standard. John and his son cleared and tidied the site every evening before leaving and kept me informed about progress without me having to ask. On completion John made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work and finish. Altogether a very satisfactory job. Can't praise him enough. Would recommend him to anyone.

We needed roughcast redone on our property.John visited and explained what would be needed to do the job and the process. He gave us options for colour of render and stones and took time to make sure we were happy with our choice.
The work was carried out as agreed by John and his son to a very high standard and with as little inconvenience to us as possible. They kept us up to date with the progress day to day and cleared up as they went with one of our neighbours commenting that they were the tidiest workmen she had even seen.

During the work they cleaned up every day and left the work areas really clean and tidy.
