I would like to thank your engineer Scott who was out to service my dads boiler on Friday he went above and beyond. He could smell gas and pinpointed it to a small hole in the pipe work near the meter. He called the gas board and they were there within half an hour of him phoning. I dread to think what could have happened if it wasn’t for Scott being on the ball. I highly recommend your company to anyone as you provide a service second to none.

this is the 4th boiler we have had fitted at 4 different properties. MPH, are very efficient, do the job quickly without mess, supply excellent boilers and give great advice. Thoroughly recommended. Very well priced for what you get.

From the first phone call I knew I was onto a professional business, the work was completed by very friendly and knowledgeable workmen. They arrived on time and completed the full job earlier than expected. I had had a few quotes from other companies and they didn’t even come close to the price I was given. This is the second property that I’ve allowed MPH to do our heating and shower systems. Kitchen will be next.

We had a new boiler fitted and received a very competitive price.
The initial work was done efficiently, but then a snag hit with insufficient gas supply. The engineer from MPH then had to lift carpets and floorboards and replace piping - all of which he did quickly and efficiently.
All in all a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend them.

I highly recommend this company. My 88 year old mother's boiler broke down 13/12/2022.I called Scottish boiler care who do her maintenance. The engineer advised needed new pump and this would take time to get then left. I contacted MPH 14/12/2022 they sent someone out that day and got new boiler installed the next day. They gave excellent service from start to finish. I can't thank them enough.

I contacted the company - they came out the same day and they fitted my new boiler on Wednesday - what a quick efficient service. The guys were fantastic fitters - friendly and efficient. Given the extreme cold weather, I was delighted at the rapid response to our boiler problem. A new boiler was installed within two days. The work was done to an excellent standard by two very sociable tradesmen.

Replacement Boiler

At my request they sent out a representative who was not just a salesman with no technical knowledge as other companies had. The Rep was fantastic and answered all the questions I put to him giving a full comparison on advantages & disadvantages of available boiler options. Absolutely no pressure sales techniques were applied with price being all inclusive. Wasn't expecting it but got a date for installation 2 days later as I had explained going on holiday the following week. Installation Team arrived as agreed and were extremely polite & conscientious covering all surfaces to ensure protection. They had additional works to do due to configuration of existing pipework, construction of the extension where boiler situated and layout of fitted units, all this was done with good grace and zero complaints. All in all, I can't praise highly enough the service given from start to finish by all individuals I have had contact with within this company.
I have no hesitation in recommending MPH Boilers based on the service provided to date.

Boiler serviced and company re-contacted due to slight continuous drop in pressure. Problem was solved by adding corrosion inhibiter to the system.

I got a new boiler installed.
I liked the way there were no hidden payments. The quote included everything needed. The installers were friendly and tidy. There was a wee blip after installation and the plumber was back the same day I notified the company and it was fixed. No fuss.

Inquired at 9 30 pm on a friday night and got a phone call 2 minutes later. They got a man down next day at 12 30 and had the boiler fitted 3 days later. First class service from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. Absolutely flawless service.

MPH were arranged by Wickes to fit a bathroom that was ordered through Wickes. Ewan came to complete the survey in advance. Unfortunately, he didn't pay close enough attention and this caused problems and unexpected expense down the line. I told him that I didn't think we wanted a plastic ceiling but he said they were great and he would send photos. He didn't send photos. When we received the quote we spoke with the office to check the price for having it plastered. The office checked with the tradesperson and told us the cost was about the same so we said we would like it plastered.

When Ewan arrived on site on day 1, he looked at the ceiling and said that plastering it would cost more as it was aertex and would need to be plasterboarded first. I had told Ewan at the survey when he was looking at the ceiling that I didn't know what a plastic ceiling would look like and wasn't at all sure it was what we wanted, but he assured me that he would send photos and we would like it. Ewan said that we wouldn't be charged extra for the ceiling due to us having been told the cost would be the same, however it was on the invoice and when we queried this with the office we were flatly told Ewan would never have said that.

Also, I showed Ewan the fuse box and was surprised that he didn't think it would need to be replaced but assumed that Ewan, as the professional, knew better than me. It was necessary to replace the fuse box and this added about £500 to the cost of the job.

We were advised to change the tiles, again Ewan said he would send photos of alternative tiles but didn't. He sent them to my husband later. MPH ordered the tiles and we paid but they ordered 7 boxes too many (value £136). MPH offered to arrange to return them to the shop, which is 45 mins drive from us. They never did collect and return the tiles so I had a 90 minute round trip doing this but thankfully the tile shop refunded the 7 unopened boxes. The shop was quite taken aback at the amount that had been over-ordered, as MPH knew the dimensions.

We had settled the quote in full, in addition to the cost paid to Wickes which covers essentials of fitting. We then received a further invoice for about £1,500, which was unexpected having paid the full quote in advance. We accepted that there was additional work required, in particular electrical work, but the survey should have picked up the majority of this, rather than putting the price up after the work was done.

The invoice included about £300 for "specialist tiling" based on the original tiles that were not used in the end, MPH removed this after we pointed it out.

The invoice also included about £200 for fitting the shower, which was included in the payment to Wickes. MPH removed this after we pointed it out.

The sum in the invoice for plastering was excessive in relation to what was done and MPH reduced this when we queried it.

The tradespeople that came to do the work were all polite, friendly and worked very hard to get our bathroom fitted. We took details for one (who is not directly employed by MPH) as we would gladly have him back for more work, but dealing with the company itself was incredibly stressful and had we not checked the invoice in detail, we would have been ripped off. I did point this out to the office at the point where they said they would get back to us about collecting the tiles and the cost of the ceiling. They never did get back to us on either point and we found dealing with them so difficult that having reduced the bill by the several hundred pounds that we had been overcharged we settled the rest. We ended up paying about an additional £1,000 afterwards, more than doubling the total cost of the job based on the survey.

Additionally, the invoice was repeatedly sent dated January 2022 and marked overdue, when we had paid the quote that was sent in January in full at the time, the subsequent invoices were sent in March dated January. I asked MPH to amend this twice and they did not.

We had a new combi gas boiler fitted in the kitchen. Our fitter John was quick and professional installing our replacement boiler which was much appreciated as my 98 year old mother in law can't go without heating for long. From requesting a price for the job to fitting it the next day it was extremely quick, perfect for us.

Was recommended MPH by a friend of a friend. Had a new combi boiler and radiators installed and it’s already saving money compared to the old inefficient storage heaters we had. Had a leak from a faulty pipe connector, which wasn’t anybodys fault, and as a gesture of goodwill they also fitted a sink and tap free of charge. The guys are very experienced and also tidied up afterwards, would highly recommend this company. Thanks MPH.

Had a Veissman Boiler fitted. Plumbing work was good, but had a question about some of the electrical work (due to a misunderstanding) and 10 year guarantee. No reply to 3 emails and 2 calls. They said my emails had gone direct to Trash and had missed my calls. They responded to my review on Trusted Trader and their service was immediately excellent again. I will put this down to a busy time for them and an error. We all have these. Taking a step back from one incident, MPH are a very good company.

Only just had new boiler fitted so can't yet judge reliability hence the 4 out of 5, however customer service is excellent. Initial visit, recommendation and installation all done within 24hrs. All work completed and not a speck of dust left.

I needed a new combi boiler and the help I received on which boiler was best suited to my requirements
I had a site visit from the owner to check my present system and to talk me through what would take place and how the installation would be carried out
The installation engineer arrived early next day and by mid afternoon the new boiler was fitted and the system was cleaned out with an electro magnetic system which with adjetating the radiators cleaned out many years of muck from the radiators
The time clock was set up to my requirements and the system’s wi -fi controller explained

New boiler installed now a year old, so just had its first year of service the engineer was very informative and explained everything he was doing. My radiators were not as warm as I thought they should have been but when the engineer was finished with the service the radiators were a lot warmer. So I was very happy with MPH and the service they had given me. 5 stars.

I had my boiler initially installed by MPH Boilers and have had them deal with any services etc during the past 3 years. On this occasion the boiler was serviced and the work was carried out to a high standard and as discussed before the date. When my boiler broke during the the cold snap in February, as there were some parts unavailable for my old boiler this company came out and gave me a quote for a new boiler minus, the hard sell.
They were quick, friendly and efficient, followed all COVID guidelines with appropriate PPE. My home was left clean and tidy when they had finished.

My combiboiler broke irreparably on a Thursday lunchtime and MPH came the same day to give me an estimate. They had a the boiler I wanted in stock and came out first thing next morning. It was installed and working by 3. They did great work.

I had a boiler I stalled by MPH several years ago very professional and cleaned everything up when completed. Each year since they have called and arranged to service the boiler to ensure warranty in maintained. They are always very friendly and professional.

Phone call Tuesday boiler fitted Thursday, excellent service. Good knowledge also. Fitted very quickly, fitters great knowledge also. Explained how everything worked. Timer not to easy to use but be ok in time.

When we moved into our present house a fair amount of work needed doing, we contacted several contractors in the area and outlined what needed doing.
Namely old gas fire with back boiler to be removed, old kitchen to be replaced MPH were the only one who could do the job and had all the skills to do the job.
They installed a new boiler for hot water and heating, then completely redesigned our kitchen to our needs, with new appliances.
