Called in to help when the hard disk on my desktop PC failed. Having determined that the device was beyond repair (if I remember rightly, there was a problem with the disk drive as well as the disk, which continued after the disk drive was replaced), Mark somehow managed to save all the files that had been stored on the risk. He then went out of his way to help me choose a replacement machine, stopping me from buying my first choice, which he advised me was over-specified for my needs, and directing me to a machine at half the cost. He then oversaw the installation and commissioning of the new machine, including the successful reloading of all my files.

My "go to" person with any small or large problems with my laptop and tablet and he always manages to resolve issues very quickly. Recently has been involved with various upgrades needed by the charity I am involved with and this included a home visit. Mark was recommended to me by a friend and I have passed his details on with my recommendation. and everyone has been more than satisified.

Mark Murphy has looked after my computer and related IT needs for the last 15 years. He has advised on, installed, maintained and updated hardware and software on my home computer system and provided prompt assistance, remotely or otherwise, when any problems have been encountered. He has also provided advice and assistance with my tablet, mobile phone and home wi-fi. He is patient, calm and good at explaining technical issues in non-technical terms. We are a retired couple using Microsoft pc's and two laptops for travel. We need frequent help in dealing with all the problems that seem to arise, and advice on what software and apps we should be using to survive in an increasingly complicated on-line world.
He does what can be done remotely but comes in to the house whenever it needs more, including teaching us how to use some of the software.
We have been very happy with his help without any delays whenever something urgent has arisen.

We are a two people small business mainly working from from home and Mark (Swiffed IT) has helped with all our IT needs for many years.
