Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services is a family business rooted in
Edinburgh. Nico & Ailidh established the business after coming together
in 2017. “We work together daily as Yin and Yang, balancing the
Symbiosis that’s required for business, nature and family.”
Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services are a friendly, local and professional service with 15 years experience we are fully insured with public & employers liability insurance. We are here to provide our customers with quality, safe, and environmentally-friendly Tree & Hedge services.
We have first class equipment provided for the job and our staff are qualified through LANTRA & NPTC arboricultural courses along with additional ABC / Tree life courses.

It was a real pleasure dealing with Ailidh & Nico who pruned and shaped our Silver Birch.
We would highly recommend them for their professionalism from start to finish.

Nico and Ailidh provide a super garden maintenance service that I don't hesitate to recommend. They are very knowledgeable, their quotes are competitive, and they work very hard. If you are looking for someone to help you take control of your garden then do give them a call... but do it quickly because they book up fast!

Nico and Ailidh are a joy to work with. They are great at booking in advance, checking in nearer the time, letting us know when exactly they'll be there. They did a great job of pruning the trees and left the garden spotless, taking away all the cuttings themselves. We definitely recommend them to anyone.

Ailidh and Nico have been working in our garden for 3+ years, doing specialist tree pruning and cutting our very high laurel hedge. They are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the work that they do and are great at providing advice and guidance, too. The communication is always excellent, and we’ve always been very pleased with the quality of work. They are reliable and extremely personable. We would highly recommend.

Have used Nico and Eilidh twice now, they provided good advice, and carried out major pruning of several mature trees, including a large unruly Holly and tidied a beech hedge. They even managed to save a rowan with some diseased branches. They are a very knowledgeable and personable couple with a good team and left the garden immaculate. Would not hesitate to use again and definitely recommend them.

Fantastic service. Communicated quickly and clearly and the standard of work was excellent. Had a tree removed that was very close to my building. When I got home from work you would never have known it was ever there, they were so tidy. Very reasonable prices and excellent considering the great standard of work. Would use again and recommend to others.

We were very happy with the service Ailidh and Nico provided. They were prompt, friendly, did an excellent job on our cherry tree and offered advice on other parts of our garden and tidied up everything. We will use their services again.

Trees pruned and reshaped. One tree that had been badly cut by another company has been completely revitalised and restored to its former beauty.
Advice is given on maintenance going forward.
