Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services is a family business rooted in
Edinburgh. Nico & Ailidh established the business after coming together
in 2017. “We work together daily as Yin and Yang, balancing the
Symbiosis that’s required for business, nature and family.”
Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services are a friendly, local and professional service with 15 years experience we are fully insured with public & employers liability insurance. We are here to provide our customers with quality, safe, and environmentally-friendly Tree & Hedge services.
We have first class equipment provided for the job and our staff are qualified through LANTRA & NPTC arboricultural courses along with additional ABC / Tree life courses.

We were very happy with the service Ailidh and Nico provided. They were prompt, friendly, did an excellent job on our cherry tree and offered advice on other parts of our garden and tidied up everything. We will use their services again.

Trees pruned and reshaped. One tree that had been badly cut by another company has been completely revitalised and restored to its former beauty.
Advice is given on maintenance going forward.
Site is always left impeccably tidy.

All the trees in our garden were pruned and shaped. This is the second time we have used Ogilvie Hayes. These people don't just cut trees, they love their trees, and this is eminently apparent in their deep knowledge of their subject and highly sensitive approach to tree care.

We have used Ogilvie Hayes several times in the past few years for tree work in our garden, most recently in November this year.
They always respond promptly to requests, give good expert advice, are fair in their pricing, and totally reliable when it comes to carrying out the work. They are always considerate to neighbours when doing the work and scrupulous when clearing up afterwards.
We recommend them 100%.

After using for the past few years, I would 100% recommend this trader. They are professional in all aspects of their work, communication, passionate about their work, so friendly and they liter-ally tidy up their last leaf!
They respect the property and garden and also neighbours. I trust them so much - this year they had a cancellation so they offered to come a few days early. I was at work but 100% happy for them to do the work without me there.
Booked in for 2025 and they even send a Christmas card!
