JA Plumbing Services was Established in 2010 and already has a long list of satisfied customers many of whom have used us on more than one occasion .As we are a small company we pride ourselves on customer service to ensure every customer is happy with our work every time. We are Fully covered with liability insurance to ensure you have peace of mind. JA Plumbing Services offers a wide range of services including bathroom design and installation,full central heating services from a radiator change to a full central heating system and everything in between.
We also offer an all trades service including joinery, tiling, plastering, electrics plumbers. This allows each project to be carried out from start to finish by JA Plumbing Services.

John Allan came recommended to us. He visited our house and gave first class advice on what we could get from our bathroom.
We were scheduled for a few months in advance. That date happened.
We went for a full bathroom installation, changing to a shower cubicle.
John and his team arrived promptly Monday Morning. Tore out the old bathroom. By Wednesday 2pm we had our new shower, toilet, sink, towel radiator and units installed.
He arranged the electrician and he too arrived on time to fit fan, light and lighted mirror.
We highly recommend JA Plumbing Services

Had our bathroom totally refurbished, old bathroom completely ripped out and new bathroom installed. John from J A plumbing services and his team did an amazing job, we went on holiday while it was being done and came back to a beautiful new bathroom, you wouldn't know anyone had been in, so clean and tidy. All products supplied by Wild boar bathrooms on John's recommendation and we were delighted with the high quality products and installation.
We would definitely recommend John's company 100%

We had a total renovation of a small shower room in an upper flat in Edinburgh. John and his team have delivered over and beyond the level of service I expected to be delivered. Overall they delivered an exemplary service.

Each day they cleaned up after themselves and were remarkably respectful in ensuring that the dust and dirt were contained to the work area alone. Each day John was a great communicator in telling me what the plan was for the day and the days ahead, and kept in contact to update me of any changes, ensuring other contractors (painters, tilers) turned up and delivered well.
Quality of service or product - John and his team, although worked at great speed to finish as quickly as possible, delivered an excellent service with minimal disruption at all.
Value for money - Given the outstanding end product that was delivered, and the excellent communication throughout, John has demonstrated that he cares about what he does and delivers this with excellence. Value for money is a job well done, and John has delivered this and more.

Would I use John again to refit my bathroom? 100% YES. What an amazing job John has done to transfer my old scabby ensuite into a modern and chic room. From start to finish John has been great. He turned up on time, had great communication throughout the job, worked hard to complete the job in 3 days (although there was a slight delay due to a couple of items not turning up on time which was outside his control). He has fantastic attention to detail and very tidy. A really nice guy too! I would recommend John to family and friends.

They were hard grafters, communication throughout when required and kept us in the loop. Polite and friendly.

My Mum’s hot water tank burst and flooded her bathroom. In a panic Mum called a company who came out to help her. The long and short they let her down.
Through Trusted Trader we found John. He was absolutely amazing. Came out gave us a quote.
The work was done to a very high standard. The house was left clean and tidy. He also did some extra bits that he found while there. At no extra cost.
Would highly recommend J.A. Plumbing. He gives honest advice and fair quote for the work. Never felt pressured once to take him on. We really appreciate everything that was done and how easy it was to feel we were in save hands.

Replacement boiler and HW cylinder plus electrics.
John and his team were very efficient, ensuring floors were protected before starting. Installation was completed in a day, all debris removed and floors hoovered before leaving.
I would happily recommend John for any future works.

We struggled to find a plumber to renovate our bathroom and cloakroom, then happily someone recommended John. His quote was quick and competitive, he offered good advice and advised us every step of the way. John and his mate Kevin are extremely hard working, organised and easy to talk to guys. They left our house very tidy, with a really smart bathroom and cloakroom. We will definitely be using John’s services in the future.

John was very easy to work with, happy to explain his suggestions and to answer any questions we had. We obtained a number of quotes for our new boiler and John's quote was very competitive.
The work was carried out on the date discussed and on budget. After the work was completed John made sure the house was left tidy, hoovering and clearing all the rubbish.
I would happily recommend John and his work to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

John carried out the complete refurbishment of the bathroom in my daughters tenement flat. John was a great communicator, always on time and just an all round good guy. This is the 3rd bathroom John has upgraded for me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else.

John is an exceptional plumber. Him and his team worked extremely hard and they were professional, reliable, personable and always on time. Right from the initial contact, John had kept in touch and always answered any queries quickly. The refit of our bathroom was done in a good and timely manner and progress photos were also taken too.

We have recently completed the remodelling of our cloakroom/toilet. John Allan did a splendid job for us. He provided his estimate, kept in good communication with us up to and during the project, and left everything neat and tidy on completion. John was exactly what we wanted - not only extremely competent, but also able to work things through when the instructions for some of the kit were obscure to say the least.
A very nice, helpful and courteous guy. We would have no hesitation in approaching him for further work in the future.

After seeing other works completed with John and his team l knew that I did not need to get any other quotations to strip out and remodel my bathroom. John surveyed my bathroom and his knowledge and enthusiasm was first class recommending that he could reposition wc and towel rail to get more room for me, he provided me with a quotation very quickly and detailed. I agreed to his price and went away on holiday leaving him and his team alone in my house to carry out the installation trusting him completely. While on holiday John kept me updated on a daily basis with progress photographs.
I returned from holiday to find an amazing transformation on my bathroom which left me so happy with the result, my house was also left spic and span after the renovation.
I would have no hesitation to recommend JA Alan for any bathroom work

A poorly installed wet room floor (undertaken by a building company) with cracked grout and tile movement was stripped back and a new floor complete with underfloor heating was then replaced by John and his colleagues.
I cannot praise John and Kevin highly enough for their hand work in taking the floor back to a state it could be then effectively worked on. The tiler, Krzysztof completed the tiling to a very high standard.
I am extremely happy to have a fully functioning wet room floor that looks fabulous. John has a excellent work ethic and achieving a good result for his customer is of great importance to him. Very much recommend John and his business.

Being new to Midlothian, we had no prior knowledge of tradesman so during the extensive renovations to our home, we have largely taken a chance on people through sites like trusted trader. And it has paid off!
John recently installed 4 new bathrooms for us. Given the scale of the work, we organised for it to be done while we were away on 2 weeks holidays. Given the scale of the works, we weren’t expecting the full job to be done in this time but John and his team worked incredibly hard to achieve this for us and we returned back to an (almost) finished job and an incredibly clean house!
I cannot recommend John highly enough. From the very beginning, communication has been excellent, he is very reliable and a genuinely nice guy. The standard of work is fantastic and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
