Steve Cook serves as plumber, heating engineer and advisor to Penicuik Community Alliance, a Community Benefit Society that is in the middle of converting substantial High St premises (900m2) into a community hub. He has installed a Pentland Biomass boiler system at 'The Storehouse', CH radiators , space heaters, coffee machine, sinks and four toilets. His work is of the highest quality. He often improvised solutions to problems at his own expense to get us out of difficulties when opening a temporary shop, always with a smile. Funding difficulties have brought refurbishment to a temporary halt but we will not be looking elsewhere for plumbing services when work resumes!

Steven performed all plumbing work to a very high standard as he clearly is very experienced in the field. He extended flexibility to work together with me - a DYIer - on a bathroom remodel and I'm very pleased with the overall result.

Drain unblocked

We recently need a new boiler. First class service from Steve from the first meeting to installation of boiler. Work was done efficiently and tidily and nothing too much trouble. All questions answered honestly and knowledgably. Would recommend and would definitely use again.

Superb service, have put in a new state-of-the art boiler for us and when our shower broke recently went out of their way to provide us with a temporary replacement asap. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, would completely recommend.

Interzone have spent the past few months on a complete renovation of an historic building conversion into seven en-suite bedrooms for us. They designed the heating, plumbing and drainage systems literally from the ground up and installed a bespoke system on budget and on time.

The result is better than we could have hoped for - we cannot recommend this company enough.

Our boiler just stopped working one day at the weekend and I have young children, Steve came out the same day and temporarily fixed the issue so we had heating. Arranged to come back and fix the issue a few days later! Fit us in where he could.

We had our new boiler installed by Steve a few years ago and Steve services the new boiler yearly. We mentioned issues with water pressure to his son at the service on Monday and Steve discovered the reason for the issue, sent his son back to check and was very helpful in getting the issues resolved very quickly. We would recommend Interzone.

Steven fitted our bathroom and some new radiators. He was always punctual and was totally professional in all his work. We were very, very happy with all his work. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A really nice person.

We had a heating issue over the weekend and Steven could not have been more helpful. He picked up the necessary part for the boiler and attended to the repair that day, on a Sunday afternoon. Polite, efficient, helpful - highly recommend him, and we'll use him again for sure.

After a panicked phonecall as we were without heating in the depths of winter with a toddler, the team came and temporarily fixed our boiler, and then came back at a later date with the parts to fix it and service it.
