In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.

I greatly appreciated a prompt response to a small roof leak. This was expertly evaluated and repaired. I have been very happy with several jobs done by GW&JS and they will definitely be my first call for any roof work. Jason' s communication is excellent and the roofer Alan is very experienced, capable and helpful. Thank you!

I requested a quotation for replacing my garage roof from several companies but Guy and Jason were the only ones to respond. I got my quote next day, they came when they said they would, did a perfect job, were brilliant at keeping me in touch, coped with the unexpected without any fuss, and tidied up afterwards. A missing piece of guttering was fitted two days later with the same polite good humour which characterised the whole process. I'm scoring them 100% and recommend them unreservedly.

Jason's professionalism and honesty were obvious from when I first called about the leak in our roof. He was able to come round the following morning, arriving early, identified the broken tile and replaced it. I would highly recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd and will definitely call Jason if I even need work done in the future.

These guys are entirely reliable... I first used them because I needed someone in a hurry. They were able to fit me into an already busy schedule.
I have since used them for emergency repairs to a leaking window at our commercial property. They are nursing a rather worn flat roof and undertake regular maintenance.
They have insulated parts of our property.
The service is always first class - they do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and to a superbly high standard.
I will be using these guys again... and again!

From start to finish Jason and his team did exactly what they said they were going to do and when they were going to do it. A completely stress free experience which, when it comes to roofing, can be anything but. We were really impressed with the whole team who were knowledgeable and helpful giving some good advice and saving us a little bit of money at the same time. We would happily recommend and use them again.

Requested a quote for a check up of our roof after a few slates became loose and the surrounds looked aged. We had concerns due to the building being listed and 200 years old, Jason provided a full detailed quote including pictures of work required which was provided within days. Work was carried out promptly to a very high standard and Jason was on hand to answer any questions.

I have had Jason attend to several roofing issues in two different houses over the past 5 years and always found the service provided to be prompt, courteous, efficient and good value for money. I recently contacted the firm about a small niggling problem on the very day Jason was off on holiday, but was pleased to wait till he returned, phoned me back and attended to the issue at the first opportunity. The standard of workmanship and the expert knowledge of the roofing trade which he displays makes me confident that the matter is being resolved in the best way. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I contacted them back in Feb 2016 and they did a great job of sorting my leaking roof. All of the team were very polite and competent. They certainly know what they are doing. I had a small blockage in the pipe which caused the water to soak the kitchen carpet during the night and I called Jason who came down and within seconds discovered the pipe was partly blocked and did the job there and then. If you need somebody--CALL JASON. You can have every faith in them.

From the first visit to assess the work required through to the completion they were all very punctual and helpful. The two who did the roof work were pleasant and polite and they tidied up well when they were finished.

Following water ingress to the house, Jason & Guy undertook roof repairs which included slate replacement and moss/algae removal on the main roof, along with the complete replacement of a flat roof on the porch. The porch task also involved heightening the porch roof, to allow rainwater to more efficiently drain into existing guttering. The result is fantastic, with the entire porch looking brand new! All aspects of the work were undertaken professionally and with respect to the existing property/garden area. Jason & Guy were punctual and, importantly, reliable. They are a credit to their profession and I have no hesitation in recommending them for roof repairs. I would certainly contact them again in the future.

I had a leaking roof and also a cracked chimney stack which needed attention. Jason arrived at appointed time for initial inspection and then followed up with quote and photos of roof issues later that day. I was kept up to date with progress and made aware of additional issues as they arose and was pleased that the job was completed on time and in budget. Jason, Guy and the team are all very professional, friendly and efficient and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I have used GW&JS for over 10 years and have found that they provide a professional, efficient customer-focused service. Jason, as always, provided good advice and ensured that I was informed throughout. The team arrived punctually on the scheduled day, completed the works as planned and left the site clean and tidy. Guy fully described the issues found, the work undertaken and also checked the integrity of the rest of the roof. I would have no hesitation in recommending GW&JS Construction and would certainly use them again.

Flat roof renovated.
Jason and Guy carried out the work on my mum’s property to a high standard. We were kept informed of progress throughout and provided photos of each stage of the job. They were polite, reliable and a pleasure for my mum to have around. Any communication was clear and prompt and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

The work done on my garage roof and guttering was completely satisfactory. Following the initial visit, the work was scheduled quickly and carried out efficiently. The workmen were friendly, polite and explained what they would be doing. I shall certainly use this firm again and am happy to recommend them.
