The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.

Had a problem with pests getting into attic through gaps in roof. Was advised to get proffesional roofers to check it out so contacted GW & JS Roofing. As soon as "lockdown" was eased a time was sorted to carry out the work and the guys were round to fill in gaps and kept me updated throughout the work.Thanks Alan and Darren.

This firm was instructed on behalf of all the proprietors in a block of six dwelling houses / apartments in connection with roof repairs (including slating and rainwater goods): down taking of chimney to roof level and installation of cortex flues, erection / downtaking of scaffolding etc, and repair & maintenance of mutual pathway and staircase including ground works. All the work appears to have been carried out in a satisfactory manner. This may be vouched by one of the proprietors who himself is a civil engineer. A pleasing aspect of the service provided has been the prompt and courteous manner in which queries have been answered. In addition; the attention provided by the firm , after settlement of invoices has been conducted quickly and in a friendly manner. As far as I am able to judge this is a highly professional firm which takes pride in its workmanship, courteousness and professionalism. From my experience I would have no hesitation in instructing GW & JS again nor in recommending the firm to others.

Repair was for a leaking roof. Jason came out, explained what was likely to be the issue and promptly provided an estimate. The quote was the highest we received but we were impressed by Jason and his professionalism and got the feeling that the work would be carried out to a high standard with the minimum of fuss. The guys sent out to fix the problem were great, discussed the issue and got the job done. Would definitely use again and recommend unreservedly.

I was advised that they had a large back log of work due to Covid restrictions and it took 2 months from first contact to completing the job. But it was worth the wait as they turned up when they said they would. The roofers were very polite and friendly and kept me informed of the work they were doing. Photos of before and after the repairs were provided.
I recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd for any roof repairs but be warned they are very busy!

The guys worked so hard in seriously unforgiving weather and did so without complaint. The workmanship looks great to me and I've been pleasantly surprised with how straight forward arranging the work and getting it paid for was. That little bit of extra attention to the admin side of things goes a long way and the guys are doing a great job - thanks!

We had a potentially damaging water leak from a skylight in the attic. We were provided with a pair of quotes to remedy the issue. One a straightforward repair and a second for a repair and replacement Velux window. We chose the latter. The work was carried out smoothly and efficiently with no disruption to daily routine. During the work several additional tiles were identified as damaged. We agreed to their replacement at additional cost. When the final invoice arrived this cost was minimal.
We were advised at every stage of the works and all workmen (including the scaffolders) left the area clean and tidy on completion.
No hesitation in recommending the company, and (should the need arise) would have no hesitation in calling them again.

Two chimneys were stripped and re-harled. The cast iron guttering was also re-bedded with three new sections being inserted. General checking the roof and attending to any slates that needed replaced or adjusted.
