The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.

I was recommended to use GW & JS Construction Ltd, and I found Jason, Guy and their team to be very professional. As a layman, I found that they were able to communicate very effectively about the problems I had experienced with roof leaks affecting my top flat. The work carried out was very tidy, and they appear genuinely concerned to solve long-standing problems that I have experienced. As a result of my first experience of using them, I intend to employ them to do an annual visit to check the roof of my tenement. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Jason and Guy have looked after our roof for years and we have always been 100% happy with their work. Jobs have ranged from small gutter clearances to complete replacement of all slates. They are unfailingly friendly, reliable and professional, as are their team. We wouldn't trust anyone else!

We had work done on our roof to repair a zinc gully and replace loose and broken slates. Jason showed us photos of what needed done beforehand and Alan kept us well informed as the work progressed. We have a full set of photos of the work done. We were very impressed by the prompt replies to all our emails and by the professional standards of everyone involved. We would thoroughly recommend the services of GW & JS Construction Ltd.

We had our garage roof replaced in August, Jason was very quick to contact us, provide a quote and arrange a date for the work. It was undertaken to a high standard and finish. Where issues emerged the workmen were quick to rectify them. Following completion of the work the drainage leaked slightly - this section couldn't have been tested at the time and when we contacted Jason it was fixed quickly and without question. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely use again.

Needed to get a small leak in the roof dealt with, and a general survey of the roof to check for other issues. Jason was very quick to respond over email. He identified and repaired the leak, and swiftly identified and fixed a couple of other things, explaining what he was doing and providing photos. Very professional and friendly, no hesitation in recommending.

I recently had to get the flashing on my roof repainted quickly as was looking to get my house revalued.
Really impressed with the quality and speed as it was all done within three days from initial contact for a very good price.
Will definitely be keeping their details to use them again in the future.

After a winter storm we had a leaking roof, but were also aware of a broken down pipe, and damp. Jason was quick to investigate and also discovered areas of broken harling , and a blocked drain beneath the down pipe and misaligned rones . We had a formal quote within a day, and a high level timeframe for completion. This was exceeded due to Jason’s planning and his team ultimately arrived within a few weeks and completed within 2 days and the work has been proven to be excellent and successful.

I highly recommend Jason from GWJS Roofing. He came out to look at some dodgy rhone pipes that were leaking and, instead of just having a look and coming back later, he got down and dirty and fixed everything for me on the spot. Jason is a complete gentleman and even put up with my toddler asking him endless questions! He was completely honest and extremely helpful. I wish all tradespeople were as easy and friendly! I'll definitely be inviting him back to fix more of my tumble down house.

We had water coming in our living room - Guy and Jason were great at getting things done quickly.
Involved a lot of scaffolding and repair but all done quickly and efficiently.
The pictures of before and after are really useful especially where roof repairs are concerned!

We needed 6 large ridge tiles plus several flat tiles replaced. Our job was dealt with promptly and the team were very professional from the moment I initially contacted them, to the completion of the job. We are really pleased with the neat workmanship too, would highly recommend.

We had a very positive experience using this company. Both Jason and Guy have a good manner and are keen to do a professional job. Chimney harling was patched, lead flashing maintained and chimney pot secured and made waterproof.
