We had some issues with our heating and hot water system and also radiators not heating up properly, we contacted Grant who had been recommended to us from a friend after they had work done. Quite surprisingly he turned up on the day and time he said he would (doesn't that make a difference when tradespeople actually turn up when they say they will). Grant quickly went to work to bleed radiators and check our system filter (who even knows how you are meant to check or clean these), Grant showed us how our dirty our system was and explained the best solution would be to have our system flushed out with a "Powerflush". On further investigation he realised we had a substantial leak at our Unvented cylinder and it was actually falling through the floor with the weight of the cylinder. Grant took time to try and remedy the situation to stop the cylinder from sinking through the floor any further, he took sizes and called us that same evening with a price for removing and replacing the cylinder and to powerflush the system, he even organised a joiner to sort out the rotten floor and replace. I would definitely recommend Grant, G Gray Plumbing and Heating to our friends and family.

Twice now I've had an issue with my vaillant boiler, and twice now, at very short notice, Grant has come to the rescue and fixed it. Very prompt, friendly, and professional.

My joiner/handyman accidentally drilled into a pipe under my floorboards and Grant was able to come out on very short notice to save the day. I was facing 1. flooding my downstairs neighbour and 2. going without heat and hot water during winter in Scotland, so his quick and capable work was very much appreciated!

Grant carried out a boiler service. Got here when he said he would, made a good job of everything and was neat and tidy. Great all round

I contacted Grant to assist in helping an elderly relative with a broken toilet. He fitted him in the very next morning, arrived at time stated. He changed the part & fixed the issue. He actually sent me a video of it as to put my mind at ease as i worry about unknown trades ppl being in more vulnerable relatives houses. I will for sure keep Grants details for any further plumbing works required. Genuine person with no inflated prices on parts.

Grant came out and removed and replaced our combi boiler all within a day. We had a number of quotes from traders, however Grants was by far the most reasonable for cost, quality of the boiler plus the 10 year warranty (don't be fooled by cheaper quotes for boilers with a 2 year warranty). He arrived on time on the date we booked and went above and beyond to finish off the job, fixing a few fitting issues. Our place was left immaculate, and he took pride in the outcome. Well worth the place on trusted trader!!

Delighted with the service from Grant who was very pleasant and accommodating. He replaced the boiler on a Saturday which suited my needs. He was Efficient, good value for money. Came when he said he would and cleared up after him.

Grant recently repiped my whole flat and fitted a new boiler, kitchen and wet room. Great service from start to finish and alway had a solution when we came across issues with lead mains and cast wastes!

Mr gray turned up exactly when he said he would went through the job with me explaining things to me got back to me with a very good price I accepted price and job was done very quick and left job clean and tidy would not hesitate to recommend or use again many thanks again grant keep up the good work
