We had our gas boiler repaired at our business premises. A couple of different parts needed replaced, over a couple of occasions, and a general overview. The engineers were friendly, efficient and prompt, also explained the faults clearly. Although its a busy time of year they were able to send someone out quite quickly.
Also the overall booking and price quoting system was very efficient to use. Would recommend!

Kitchen tap replaced - existing one had been dripping for months.
Discussed the different options via phone and email and agreed that I would replace the tap as it was around 20 years old.

Lauren and everyone in the office were also really helpful and always got back to me very quickly whenever I had a query. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Had a leak in the cistern - I called CGS on 22 Dec - they were fully booked but managed to fit me in the same day which was very good of them as they were closing that day for Christmas. Ultimately they came on 10 Jan to do a ‘refurb’ and did an excellent job. The boys send a message to let you know when they will be arriving which is really helpful. Both Matty & Cammy were very helpful and informative. Reliable company - would definitely recommend.

I'd be delighted to work with Corstorphine Gas again.
Our old boiler was 18 years old and on the way out and from the initial survey right through to quotes and installation of our new boiler they were excellent.
The boiler is in an awkward location and other companies were discussing really intrusive 4 day jobs requiring joiners whereas Corstorphine Gas managed to get the boiler installed and up and running with all the existing fittings, and at a much lower price point than competitors.
The guys that installed it were polite and friendly. We'd definitely recommend Corstorphine gas to neighbours and friends in the future.

Communication from them was excellent before, during and after the work was carried out. The engineer Stevie, turned up exactly when he said he was going to turn up, and he did a fantastic, professional job making very little mess. He was a nice, friendly guy and he took time to talk me through the work, to explain how to operate the new boiler and to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job.
I would certainly use this company again and would highly recommended them.

I have used this company several times and they continue to impress every time. Polite staff who are very knowledgeable, clean and tidy. All communications are handled professionally and I love the fact you get a text message to confirm they are on their way. The job was done in a day with no mess. Having contacted a couple of gas companies, I decided to go with CGS. I wanted to change the radiators to the old fashioned styled rib radiators. CGS came down and gave me advice on what size I needed to ensure I had maximum heat. When the men came to do the job they got straight on with it, lifting carpets, completing the job, everything put back in place, no mess and the end result looks amazing. Being a tradesman myself, it was uplifting to come back and see what great, professional job they did. The following day, the owner Lewis Page, gave the personal touch by coming to the house and checking the work and ensuring I was 100% satisfied. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend.

I noticed the valves at the bottom of my heated towel rail in the bathroom had a small leak. I called Corstorphine Gas Services and they said they could send someone out that day to look at it. I got a text message to say the engineer was on his way and he arrived at the time the message stated. He was very pleasant, identified the issue and replaced the heater valves. He didn’t leave until he had checked the leak had stopped both when the heating was on and off. I was very satisfied with the service I received and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and would use them again in future.

We had our service from a very pleasant young man called “Mitch”, the first thing I noticed about him, was how clean his footwear was. He came in and got straight into serving our Boiler, he asked a few few questions relating to the boiler, I was amazed at the various tests he did, none of the previous trades men had done anything like that before.
I thought that this was real value for money, and that all “Corstorphine Gas Services” were like this.

After an early morning urgent request for a plumber to repair a broken hot water pipe to my kitchen tap. My request was answered minutes after and an engineer at my door an hour later. Tap removed & pipes capped, leaving me still able to use dishwasher & washing machine. New tap ordered & fitted soon after.

Had my fire serviced for the third year at the beginning of December.
Last year I had a problem with the coals and back panel, but after one phone call it was sorted without any hassle at all and the end result was just what I wanted at no extra cost. Delighted with the job this year again would highly recommend.

New combi boiler fitted. We appreciated the speed at which CGS went into action after our old boiler was ruled unsafe with cold weather fast approaching! From Mitch the initial visitor to Stevie the fitter and the staff in the office all went smoothly and we were kept informed throughout. With our being in a top flat, Stevie had to perform with no little bravery to fit the flue and he returned immediately to fix a small problem with a radiator. Thank you.

This is the second time we have CGS, earlier this year our central heating started failing, they assessed what was required and fixed it in a timely manner. So when we required an annual service it was a no brainer. Mitch arrived on time and got straight to work, he was extremely thorough, in fact at one time I thought there was a problem. I think this was the first time it was properly service, despite being supported by a well known national company.

Sudden breakdown of our oil fired boiler but Corstorphine Gas Services managed to get an engineer to us within a couple of days, despite the high demand due to the recent cold snap.
Their engineer was on time, courteous, professional and got my boiler operating within 15 minutes from walking in the door. Excellent service and great communication.

My heating system failed due to a faulty control switch, I could not get my regular engineer to come out for another 10days .With the extremely cold weather at the time I tried Corstorphine who sent an engineer within 36 hours and the switch was replaced resulting in the heating operating normally. Excellent service !!!!

My problem was a cold draught coming in from the wall behind my sink and dishwasher, which are below my kitchen window. I have electric heating in my flat. I have to highly praise Corstorphine Gas Services Limited for their help to resolve the problem. Robbie the Plumber, and John the Joiner, removed all the fixtures, fitted a frame and fitted an insulation board then reinstalled everything back to normal in one day. The wall in question was cracked and had holes in it which allowed cold air to flow into my kitchen! I cannot praise both Robbie and John enough, for their excellent, professional, and clean working to resolve my problem. All done with good humour and a smile. It will be a pleasure from now on to be standing at my sink! Top marks to an excellent Edinburgh firm. Everything was 1st class.

Came to renew a thermostatic valve on one of the radiators. They came at the specific time requested and made sure it was all working properly. The office staff are extremely helpful and know exactly where the men are all the time. Couldn't fault them in any way.

Existing mains shower and enclosure/base, and wet wall were removed. They were successfully removed without damaging the ceiling or floor tiles by the fabulous Cammie and his lovely apprentice Louis. I was over the moon with their skills and knowledge, and efficiency. They successfully installed new replacement products and worked tirelessly with Nick the tiler (absolute quality)!!! Talk about tidy! You'd never know there was any work being done!!! All rubbish and every grain of dust was removed by hoovering!!! Thank goodness I was introduced to Corstorphine Gas! Everyone including Robbie who measured the job (quote received the same day), to the office staff, Lauren the Manager and Courtney who were extremely helpful and polite and very patient with my numerous phone calls to discuss products! Robbie also checked on the progress of the work and that everything was OK. I wish the company megga success for the future and can't rate them highly enough. How do you rate excellence? Cammie deserves a VERY special mention and appreciation.

Removal of bath, wash hand basin, toilet & tiles from walls (there was a total of 3 layers!). Installed wet walls, walk-in shower, wash hand basin, toilet & new flooring. All rubbish was removed and when bathroom was finished it was left in clean and tidy. Communication was excellent from office staff down to Robbie (plumber) & Adam (work experience) and John (joiner). I have to say that Robbie was good at explaining what would happen the next day. He also installed new towel rail, cabinet, and other accessories for us too. Cannot fault his work ethic.
My brother had used Corstorphine Gas to get his toilet installed and my niece has now arranged for them to do hers in February next year. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Response to initial call was great - the plumber was in our house within a few hours. Our boiler had been gaining pressure and leaking water. This was fixed within the initial visit but a couple of longer term safety issues were also identified. An appointment was made to address these within a few working days and all works were completed on that visit. Staff were courteous and left the site clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company

Crostorphine Gas Services completely overhauled our (40 year old) gas central heating system. New boiler, smart thermostat, unvented water tank, radiators & copper pipe work throughout. The guys were professional from start to end completing the job on time & to a high standard. Before commencing with the work Lewis took the time to ensure the system being fitted was appropriate for our home making us aware of everything before chosing the best approach. I left a message on their answerphone on Saturday afternoon to request a plumber to look at the overflow in my WC. First thing on Monday I had a call to say someone would be with me between 12-2pm to assess the situation. The plumber arrived shortly before 12noon and quickly dealt with the problem by sourcing a replacement valve from his supplier along with a mixer kitchen tap, which I also required. He returned shortly where both items were successfully fitted and shortly after 1pm the work was completed!! Absolutely excellent service throughout not only from an extremely helpful plumber but also with courteous and helpful office staff. Highly recommended!

Called CGS as boiler stopped working and displaying a general fault code. They put me on their emergency list and gave me a call an hour an half later with an engineer who was available immediately. The guys quickly diagnosed the issue, checked all other parts were working, called to check replacement part available, went to collect the part and came straight back to fit.
I less than 3 hours from calling my boiler was back up and running for a reasonable price. I understand why I’ve had so many recommendations for CGS, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend myself.

We had our first annual service (from the gold-plan) as well as an ad-hoc install of a smart thermostat controller. The communication was good and proactive with a reminder on the day before with the option to change/cancel.
However, what stood out the most (apart from the friendly and pleasant engineer) was the thoroughness of the service of the boiler. We've been with a different company for years and years and NEVER have we seen such a detailed boiler service. However, what stood out the most (apart from the friendly and pleasant engineer) was the thoroughness of the service of the boiler. We've been with a different company for years and years and NEVER have we seen such a detailed boiler service. Boiler was leaking with no pressure. CGS sent Shawn out to see me within hours of my initial call. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and returned the next day with the parts and repaired the boiler. It is now fully functional and foresee no further issues.

Thanks to Lauren & Courtney for assisting with my boiler service that was needing done (only to find it was serviced in December by another company after it was done).

Shawn serviced my mother's boiler and gas fire. An infinitely better job than our previous company (a large national which charged a lot of money for a grudging and minimal amount of work) so we are now transferring the annual boiler plan to Corstorphine Gas.
He also checked over her old gas cooker, which was lacking in the safety features of the modern ones, something we had been unaware of.

We had our old boiler removed from the kitchen and the new boiler relocated to the attic. The work was carried out over two days and was done with minimal disruption to us. The work was carried out efficiently and everything was left tidy on both days. My boiler pressure had been fluctuating for quite some time, CGS sent a gas engineer who quick found the fault and gave quotation for replacement of Expansion vessel & PRV. This work could not have been seen possible by other gas engineers sent by other companies, mostly because of accessibility issue around the boiler. CGS has team of very experience gas engineers who have excellent attitude & work ethics. It was not an easy task but CGS gas engineer made it possible by using calculation based judgement rather than just saying its not possible like other gas engineers from other company. They proved all others wrong by their meticulous approach to solve the problem rather than giving simple answer that work is not doable.
This experience makes me believe that gas certification is not the only requirement someone need to do the job but the experience of doing something complicated and approach to find the solution to the problem is needed.

Corstorphine Gas Services removed a back boiler, water tanks etc and fitted a new combo boiler last week for me. The service from beginning to end was very good. My old boiler was starting to need more attention. Two friends had recommended Corstorphine Gas Services, and I'm so glad they did. Repairs were carried out very quickly and successfully.
I then felt it was time to have a new boiler installed. The engineers worked so hard and I now feel relieved to have a reliable system in place for the winter. I think that the company is well run and has high standards. (I very much liked that I was given notificaton of the time when the engineers would arrive and also appreciated the initial visit from an engineer to discuss options available).

Had a new Viessmann boiler fitted by these guys and I am absolutely delighted with the standard of the job . Nothing is ever a problem and they go about it with the minimum of fuss. Two visits were required for service and repair.
The company offers a 2hr time slot for work and the guys arrived within the time slot on both occasions.

CGS have carried out a number of jobs for us in the last few years. Most recently, a new boiler as the old one was beyond economical repair after 17 years. The job was scoped, quoted and carried out in a matter of days. They have replaced all of our radiators, had gas pipes rerouted and redundant pipes removed and a faulty cistern fixed, as well as fitting a new gas hob. We moved our boiler service plan to CGS as they offered better service, and value for money. On all occasions we have found all CGS engineers and office staff, to be very reliable, honest, courteous, communicative and friendly. CGS provide a quality and professional service which I would, and do, recommend at every opportunity.

CGS came to carry out the annual boiler service for the boiler they installed for us 4 years ago. As usual the engineer was polite and got on with the work promptly. We have used CGS for a number of years and seen them expand as a company which sometimes results in standards dropping. The engineer, Shawn, arrived exactly on time, after a heads-up text to say he would be five minutes. He got it all working and explained the cause clearly; mainly a problem thermostat, which I'd suspected. I had been looking at digital thermostat reviews anyway and, after a discussion, decided to switch to a Hive.
It has been four days since Shawn returned to instal it: the flat is much warmer now that the system really works properly. Delighted with the Hive thermostat; it's far simpler to understand than the traditional one, which I could never fathom. Shawn was very pleasant, patient with questions, and cleared up carefully after both visits. From my first phone contact with the office, I was impressed by everyone's great attitude and manner – and they did a proper job.

Couldn't reccomend CGS highly enough. We got them to check out our old boiler in our new flat and ultimately decided to get them to install a new boiler for us as it was much more economical in the long run. From start to finish both communication from the team and service was 5 stars. Our quote was clear and easy to understand and any questions we had were answered quickly and in a helpful way. The guys who came to the flat and did the work were also friendly, helpful and did a fantastic job on all aspects. Came home from work on Friday at 3.30pm to broken boiler, called Corstorphine Gas Services Ltd who had availability to come out between 11 & 1 on Saturday. Engineer Shawn, called early and was available to attend earlier than stated time - bonus. He arrived and was very professional, introduced himself and set to work carrying out diagnostics check. Shawn kept me informed of all works, was able to establish fault quickly, procure parts, collect them, return and have us back up and running by 1pm. Thank you so much to everyone from Lauren in the office to Shawn who did everything possible to restore our heating and hot water as quickly as possible.

Have used Corstorphine gas in the past and always very reliable and quick to respond. The office staff provide one of the best customer service experienced.
Had a new boiler installed by Nathan with the full job being done in one day. Arrived on time and when finished installing took the time to explain fully how to work the new controls. Left the house tidy and took away old boiler and all waste.
Delighted with how quiet new boiler is and will continue to use this excellent company.

CGS did a complete refurbishment of our bathroom and we are just delighted with the end result. Excellent communication throughout, friendly, reliable, and work completed to a high standard. Excellent boiler installation by Costorphine. Supremely good customer service, gave choice of boilers, quotes were competitive and came quickly. Neat and tidy installation by one of their specialist installation teams who were polite and professional. Excellent follow up customer service.
