B&M Joiners

A friend recommended B&M as I needed repair work to Sash and Case windows at my property. I was delighted with how promptly Danny came round to assess and then schedule the work. He has a fantastic team who are all highly skilled and very experienced. As a result of this work, I asked B&M to install my new kitchen. The kitchen was supplied by a Third Party and we had many issues to overcome with the design and fit (due to the kitchen company errors). B&M worked long hours and the job overran, but Danny and the team stayed on to see it through and to make custom adjustments along the way.
Since then I have asked B&M to do some bespoke panelling work for me and install new doors in the hallway. I give Danny sketches and measurements on a piece of paper and he turns my drawings into fantastic end products. I would highly recommend B&M.

I had 5 sash-and-case windows replaced. The new ones included Slimlite double-glazing. The windows look great. The reduction in the level of outside noise was immediately noticeable. This is a huge plus as I live on a main road and bus route. The new windows have eliminated draughts and help retain heat in the rooms.

The work was done in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. The team left the rooms tidy at the end of each day.

I used B&M to replace similar windows at my previous flat, which is why they were my preferred choice this time.

The work involved the complete replacement of a traditional sash and case window. B&M were excellent, especially the installation team who removed the existing s&c window and installed the new one starting just after 8.00am and were complete by around 3.30pm the same day. Very neat and tidy installation.
The replacement window came fully finished which reduced site work and meant no site painting, which is good. The lead-in time from order to installation was a bit longer than expected but did include Xmas & New Year. Initial contact and order was very efficient. Good communication throughout and a plus is they didn't look for payment until just before the window was available for installation.

Danny's team knocked down 4 stud partition walls and removed glass panels, rebuilt a wall re-using the glass panels and blinds.

all was done to budget and timescale, the tradesmen got on with the job and left everything tidy at the end of each day.

Just wanted to drop you a wee Thank you for having our sash and case windows repaired so quickly. James and Thomas were absolutely brilliant, poor guys must have been melting a few days when the sun was beating in on them.
I’m really impressed at how quickly they got through the 19 windows. I can’t compliment them highly enough for their thorough cleaning of the areas they were working, if you hadn’t been in the office you would never have known they had been here. We got a demonstration of how to use the windows properly, added lovely hooks to the top windows and got us a pole as well. Have also given us a few ideas on tips on maintenance as well so they don’t get into the same state!

We had two smaller jobs done and both were done to a high standard. One was to the side of the outer door and the other was replacement of a rotten window sill.
Joiner arrived when expected and had to check what was required as we had only communicated online with photos of what was needed.
One job had to be altered slightly but the joiner explained what was wrong and checked that I agreed with the slight difference in the specification.
He returned with the materials and carried out both jobs. Cleaned up carefully when he was finished and added a primer to the wood.
Well finished work and no problems.

B&M recently built bespoke bookcases and cupboards for me. They were very professional and the work was completed quickly and to a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would use them again.

It has made a great difference as well as improving the property and I am pleased that, although they are some 120 years old, my windows are still in good condition. Both Stefano and Connor were very attentive to Covid mitigation measures, worked tidily and cleared up after themselves, were pleasant to have in the house and were always willing to explain things. B&M refurbished all my ageing (and mostly original) windows in my Victorian townhouse. The works included re-fitting, reglazing, making and fitting some lower sash and sill replacements, re-stringing, re-balancing and re-weighting all the windows as well as adding draught-proofing and brass security fittings etc. The guys were a joy to have in my house - tidy and respectful of my property. There are always a few snags and Danny (the boss) sorted these out foc in timely fashion. In-short I couldnt recommend this company highly enough.

B&M Joinery replaced our kitchen floor 2 weeks ago and I am a very happy customer and very satisfied with their workmanship, the joiner was very polite, always on time and a first class tradesman.

Danny provided reasonable quotes and always kept me informed with the work that was being done. First class joiners and would definitely recommend to anyone needing joinery work.

They had done one or two small jobs for me. This job was the fitting of a dishwasher and the creation, using the original doors, of cupboard space all after the removal of a fridge and a freezer. They made one normal sized cupboard and then designed an infill cupboard that has me delighted - particularly with the care taken to ensure the doors matched the remaining cupboard doors. They are pleasant and efficient - they turn up when they say they will and they do a good, quality, job.

We contacted B&M to provide a quote for our kitchen project having driven past the shop many times. Danny turned up on time and provided a detailed quotation within a week or so. When the work started the guys were prompt every day and it was a pleasure to have them in the house. They did an excellent job and we are delighted with the finished kitchen. I obtained quotes from a few other building companies but I was immediately impressed with Danny's knowledge of what I needed done. B&M joiners erected staff rooms and loft partitions in my work. The store looks great and the work carried out was second to none. Will use again.
