We are not a national Franchise company who charges high prices. We Are a local company based in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh. Because we are mobile Locksmiths, we have next to no overheads. This means we can pass the savings onto the customer.

All our prices at Alcatraz locksmiths are fixed. We can give a customer an accurate quote over the phone by simply asking a few questions regarding what service they need. If a customer is not sure what they are talking about or they would prefer a face to face quote that is no problem too. We will go to the property and give a free quote with absolutely no obligation to use our service

We know that customers can find themselves in a stressful situation when they have a problem with their door or window locks. That is why we will always try to accommodate a customer within an hour of receiving their call, or at at time that suits then.
We realise having problems with your locks can be stressful. That's why we aim to be at all jobs within 30 minutes of receiving the call. We accept all payment methods, and all work comes with a 1 year guarantee.

The locksmith was very friendly and professional. Although it was a predicament to get back in they were clear and concise about what they were doing and were very efficient. They responded to my call very quickly as well. I’m happy to have used their service and if I were ever stuck in the same situation again there’s no one else I’d call. 5 star service.

He refitted a bathroom door lock and handle which had come loose and away, and fitted a chain for the front door, explaining everything
Charge was very reasonable, and I would contact him again.

Following a break in where garage keys were stolen, Danny responded immediately with no call out fee. Locks replaced within 90 minutes of first contacting him. Friendly, helpful, and great value.
