The glass shower screen in the bathroom was removed and replaced with a shower rail and curtain to provide easier access for my mother who is disabled. They provided an excellent service and I would definitely use them again.

Lewis and his dad came promptly to give us a quote and the date set for the work was the date that Lewis fitted the outdoor hot tap. I would recommend for level of service and quality of work.

I'm 70 years of age and in June of this year I'm heading into hospital for surgery. Due to my time constraints, I required this work be carried out timeously. TKS obliged and were able to fit me into their schedule. The necessitated the removal of my bath and a walk in shower installed. The bathroom was stripped back to the brick and everything removed. The entire bathroom was retiled and new walk in shower, new toilet, new wash hand basin and heated towel rail installed. Basically, an entire new bathroom. Tom Knight and Son were absolutely brilliant, they carried all the plumbing work to an extremely high standard and they brought in a joiner and a tiler who were equally as great tradesmen. The Tiler was actually a magician, brilliant job. They arranged that the old bathroom suite, the old plaster etc etc was removed and taken away by a professional waste company.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending TKS Plumbing Services Ltd to anyone in East or Midlothian who required the services of an excellent Bathroom/Plumbing Company.

Lewis’s standard of workmanship is excellent. Totally replaced the hot water and central heating cylinders pumps valves and electrics. Total night and day job compared to the mess left by the house builder. Easy and efficient to deal with. No hesitation in recommending Lewis.

I had a minor leak at my sink and as always I received first class service from Lewis. Thomas Knight and Son are my go to with any plumbing problems that I have and I would not consider going elsewhere excellent work and nice people to deal with.

Tom is a person you meet and the feel all the stress you are holding about the problem or project dissipate. He is just lovely to deal with and a true skilled tradesperson. His many many years of experience shine through and he is someone to turn to and rely on. At my mother's he unplumbed and removed a dishwasher and plumbed in a washing machine and also capped off and disconnected a kickboard heater. Basic jobs for him compared to his skill level but so useful for us. Always on time and great to talk and listen to and full of plumbing knowledge. The joiner, Graham Dick, that was with him to assist with necessary joinery work was also a top highly-skilled guy. Relieved to have found a trustworthy team and will be hiring again for any plumbing and joinery work. I believe TK&Son also cover more trades too, such as heating and electrics. Fair price. Salt of the Earth kinda guy.

Can’t rate Lewis highly enough. He completed both our bathrooms towards the end of last year and has just come out to rip out and replace our downstairs toilet.
He is so reliable, great at what he does and leaves everything in such a high standard. Couldn’t be more happy with how all bathrooms have turned out and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a great plumber.

Water leaking from a broken tap. Called TKS Plumbing. Plumber was in the area and was with me within fifteen minutes. He was very helpful and was able to repair rather than replace tap. I would use this firm again.

When I needed a new oven, hob and hood fixed, plus another few jobs done about the house I had no hesitation in calling TKS Plumbing. Having dealt with Tom and his team before I knew I would be getting an excellent job done by them and they didn't let me down. Their work is always carried out to a high standard and the team is always polite and friendly.

I’ve just had a hot outside tap fitted by Lewis what a first class job he done very neat and tidy plumbing work under the sink no mess and even replaced the old leaking outside cold tap .would highly recommend TKS plumbing .professional first class service

Have used Lewis to carry out my boiler service and all plumbing repairs over several years. This time the heating system needed a clean out and to get to the bottom of a noisy hot water tank. Lewis completed all the work in a timely manner and has stopped the noise.

Tom replaced a broken electric shower in my Mother’s flat. He did a first class job and Mum was extremely happy with the job. He was pleasant to deal with and turned up bang on time on his 2 visits to carry out the job. I would certainly use him again and would happily recommend this business.

Lewis fitted a new gas boiler about 10 years ago. This has been serviced by him every year since. Last service was November 2025.
Highly recommend this company they are very reliable and do an excellent job.
