Mark had previously built a replacement new fence dividing my garden from my neighbours which was done to a very high standard. Mark has come back to replace my two side gates.

As a suggestion from Mark to have Grey steel posts I went along with his advice and have been completely surprised how effective the gates now look with new panels to complete the job.

Mark expanded the paving area for my patio. Everything was great from start to finish - he provided a very transparent quote, and explained everything to me clearly. He completed the job beautifully and gave me lots of great advice too (I am a novice gardener). Built a fence in the garden, did a good job. We had to submit documents to the council due to shared garden with the neighbor. He was very helpful, the job was done as quoted, no delays, no issues.

We needed a section of the fence in the back garden replaced. Mark came around to have a look and provide us with an estimate. Excellent service all round. Mark was straightforward to work with - honest and up front about his scope and timelines. He kept me well informed throughout the course of an extensive fencing project which was brought in on budget and, most importantly, to an excellent standard of workmanship. Mark undertook various Replacing & Repairing jobs of, Fencing including Rabbit-proof Fencing, Fence posts & Gates ( one of which he built ). He undertakes his work with enthusiasm and always displays a genuine will to please & co-operate. Mark was employed to replace the fences in our front and back gardens. The front was completed last year and we are absolutely delighted with the work he carried out. We agreed that as it was getting late in the year the larger back fence would be left until the spring. This is where the reliability issue comes in. We were given an early estimate of end of March/April and then a confirmed date which was moved twice. He has failed to contact me again to provide any further update so we had to cancel him.

We had used Mark before to save a broken fence - this time it was a full replacement. We needed a fence built in a tight space between a wall and the hedge for security and privacy, as our garden backs on to the street. Mark turned up when he said he would and even though the job turned out to be not as straightforward as first thought, he came up with solutions to make it work and didn't complain once, even when crawling under the hedge to fit the fence. Following a work colleague’s recommendation I contacted Mark to see if he would build a gate for our driveway. Couldn’t have asked for better service. He called me back straight away, stopped by within a day to see where the gate was wanted and had the gate built on site within 2 days of contacting him! Excellent value and more than happy with finished product.

Mark and his team fixed my garden fence by installing new fence posts and attaching the fence panels so that they were no longer bowing over the pavement. Very friendly service and kept me up to date with timescales for when he could complete the work around his pre-existing work.

We recently moved into a new build and the builders had left our garden space in a right mess - the garden was in no way level and the soil was full of rubbish. From the outset Mark was extremely attentive to our wants and needs - taking an hour to inspect the garden so that he could make an accurate and competitive quote. He started work almost immediately and put in long hours to transform our garden - laying a patio, raising the level of the garden and seeding it. Mark was consistently keeping us updated with the progress and cost of the project, ensuring that we were happy with each stage.

Mark created a good raised bed (in very difficult soil and a difficult shape), repaired a fenced bin area, fitted a new garden gate and built new fencing for us. He was patient, punctual and well-organised throughout the process, making the most of limited resources and a fairly demanding client!! Mark did an excellent job cutting back Leylandii and putting in new fencing. His customer service was particularly good, keeping me informed and consulting me throughout the job.

Mark came out at short notice to replace rotted fence posts. Did a good job, we are already discussing other landscaping works we have been considering.

We asked Mark to come quote for a fence repair after a storm. He arrived quickly to quote and completed the job when he said he would.

His price was very reasonable.

We have already asked him to come back to do more work later in the year and will be our go to man for any garden work.

Completed a big job very well. Perhaps could have done with a labourer to assist. We made one or two small changes which Mark took in his stride.

We are delighted with our new garden. At our first meeting we gave Mark our budget and he came up with brilliant ideas.We had a relatively small budget which he worked with! He lifted turf, put down stones, built wall using railway sleepers and also laid a new patio. He was lovely to deal with and took pride in his work. We have booked him to come back in September to do more work for us.

Mark has done exellent work, on several occasions coming out at short notice to tidy up, cut grass, tame an unruly Hawthorne hedge. I can't praise him highly enough. A good worker and a nice bloke.

Mark carried out some landscaping, in my front garden. Removal of existing grass , preparation, laying chips and fitting concrete decorative edgings. Then spreading grass seed to fill in bare areas on the existing grass areas.

Mark has built a garden fence with gate for me at the time no other traders were interested in doing such low value work. The quality of the work and communication with Mark has been excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact, I'll be using his services again for another job in the garden.

Mark was prompt at getting back to me regarding a quote for the work to be carried out.
I agreed to the quote for installing a gate and clearing a small piece of ground, putting down membrane chips and a raised bed. However the work was very rushed which equates to it costing £50 an hour and of very poor quality and finish.

I would not recommend Muddy Boots and have arranged for another person to finish the job to an acceptable quality.

This was a general tidy up job and not a gardening project. No plan or structured timetable was required.

Custom built side gate, 5 new fence posts and gate post in rough ground: Very good at being  reasonable on timing and cost.  Recycled our old wood too.

Remove old 6' garden fence.  Install new 6' fence and gate: Reliable and value for money service.

Removal of Leylandii hedge.  Replacement with wooden fencing.  All rubbish to be removed: We were very satisfied with the standard of work which was carried out efficiently and in good time.

Taking out old fencing and shed.  Post re-attached: Very pleasant man, I would recommend.

Digging over final section of very compacted garden, prepare it for use and lay a lawn: Mark came when he said he would following a prompt reply to an email enquiry.  He advised us to use seed instead of turf with a full explanation, saving us money.  He worked diligently when here and returned 3 weeks later to check that the seed had taken and offer further advice.  We will definitely use his services in future.

Removal of some very large shrubs.  Cutting back and tidying up a few more shrubs: Mark is an extremely hard worker.  A polite and courteous man.  I was very pleased with the work done in my garden.  Highly recommend.

Dug garden over, put rails in for borders and pegs, put grass seed down: Mark kept us informed and came when arranged.  Nice person to talk to and seems to enjoy his work.  Only thing is we ordered too much materials which cost us more than it should have.
