MDS installed an alarm system in January 2023. The company are polite, professional and punctual. The work was completed as arranged and on time. Since then I have had to call on MDS to deal with a couple of issues caused by additional work on the house (not related to their installation). They responded quickly and were very helpful in dealing with other trades professionals, when I was unable to be on site.

When looking to upgrade our security system, our neighbours recommended we contact MDS for a quote.
We did so, along with our existing alarm supplier, and I was very impressed.
Mike came out to see us very quickly and immediately understood what we wanted. What made a real impression on me was that he didn’t over-complicate things nor try to “upsell” aspects we didn’t need (which our existing supplier did!)
The quote was very competitive and given he came highly recommended, he got our business. He was very flexible with installation dates too, particularly as our extension build overran.
On the day, his colleague Michael arrived and quickly and quietly just got on with things. He was respectful of our property and was a pleasure to have in the house.
We’re delighted with the system and the post installation support Mike offers.

Highly professional service from start to finish. Beginning with a survey of the property, Mike listened to our family requirements to provide higher levels of security and reassurance to my mother and the rest of the family. Mike offered solutions to meet our our needs and additional sulutions.

We contacted Mike from MDS Security Systems when we had a problem with our very old alarm system after finding him on the East Lothian Trusted Trader website. He came quickly and checked our system for us, talking us through the problems he had found. He made it safe and gave us options to consider when we said we wanted it replaced. He responded to queries by email to help us make the right choice for our particular needs.

When we had made our decision, he returned and fitted a new system quickly and neatly. At each step of the way, he made us aware of the options available to us. He was cheerful, helpful and professional throughout. We are pleased to recommend him with thanks for his excellent service.
