I had a blocked Rome pipe. Phoned Colin Monday PM. He was here this morning and fixed the blockage in a very short time. He did not even charge for the work. I would certainly use him again and recommend him to family and friends. One happy customer.

The extent of the works include removal and reinstatement of hip tiles to pantile roof.
The extent of the works were not straightforward to undertake. The level of workmanship was excellent and they provided a first class service. The site was kept clean and tidy at all times and the Roofers were courteous and helpful at all times.
Would definitely recommend them to others.

I phoned L&E roofers because one tile was broken and fell of the extension roof
They came on the Monday and replaced the tile
I asked how much for the job done they said No charge
Well this is amazing in this day and age so please use these guys for any roof problems you ever have

Moss removed from roof and copper strip adhered to ridge tiles; new plastic facia boards installed; new gutters and down-pipes fitted; interlocking plastic verges fitted to front and rear of roof.
Work was undertaken very efficiently by most pleasant workers who cleaned up after them. All debris was removed from site. Colin told us the work would take 2.5 days to complete which proved to be an exact. estimate.
Will definitely use his firm again.

We have a contract with L & E to look after the roof, guttering etc. A leak has appeared in the roof beside a dormer window. This has necessitated re-slating of part of the dormer and re design of the valley between the dormer and main roof.

Colin came out when he said he would and provided an emailed quote by that same evening .
The quote was very fair for the amount of work and awkwardness of job needed .

Colin was only one of the three trusted traders roofers I contacted to actually get back to me. He responded to my initial enquiry within 15 minutes and came to assess the work within 2 days. He had his team out the next week.
His team worked very efficiently and took only a few hours to do what we needed - general repointing works, replacing missing slates, clearing our gutters, replacing a broken lead flashing, repairing a leaking cast iron gutter and re sealing some edges of our flat roof. His pricing is very, very reasonable - genuine value for money. We have since approved a second quote for some additional minor building work that his team can also undertake. We hope to sell our house this year but if that doesn’t happen we’ll definitely be asking him to completely replace our flat roof. Would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Colin has completed a number of jobs for me over a period of years, including refurbishing a tiled roof and extension and replacing the ridge and eaves tiles. His workers are conscientious about their work, they show up at the agreed time and and get on with the task in hand. I have no hesitation in recommending L&E Roofing based on value for money, service and reliability, and quality it is a definite 5 out of 5.
Also, now as the owner of a traditional stone built property with a slate roof the twice yearly maintenance contract offered by L&E Roofing gives great peace of mind.

The roof was cleared of moss and some gable end pointing carried out. The workmen arrived promptly each morning and worked hard all day. They were very polite and cleared up afterwards. Really happy with all aspects of the job.

We asked Colin to have a look at a long standing problem we've been having with water leaking into a downstairs bathroom from a balcony above. He stripped the floor of the balcony out, KC Joinery replaced the rotten joists and floor and Colin and crew re-felted on top of that. They did an excellent job, as quickly as possible, at a very reasonable price. Good communication throughout, even ensuring the skip was uplifted at the end of the job. Very happy and would definitely use again.

Colin and his team replaced my flat roof over bedroom dormers with a rubber coating . They were prompt and courteous and left no mess . They work well as a team and I am very happy with the work carried out as they also check over the rest of the roof and did some minor repairs .
After a few weeks I had a problem with water getting in through my bathroom ceiling and again Colin came out to resolve the problem promptly at no extra charge .
I would definitely recommend his business and will use them again if I ever need to .

The render had come off on our chimney. L&E provided a swift and very competitive quote to replace it. Work was carried out entirely to our satisfaction and quickly last month. Colin very clearly explained the job step by step and what would be required; he was a pleasure to deal with and we would have no hesitation to use again for other roofing works. It was a much better experience and quality job than the previous roofer we had used. Thank you!

A stain on a ceiling confirmed what I thought was a leak from my roof - on a wet Sunday morning! Having used Colin earlier in the year for roof cleaning, I texted asking him if he could come and investigate. It was agreed for him to come out first thing the following morning. As always Colin arrived on time, assessed the situation and confirmed he would come back with his guys early afternoon. I was actually out when I received a text from Colin saying a he had cleared away the blockage which had caused the problem. Excellent service, honest and totally reliable.
