Colin Edwards fitted a new garage roof and replaced slates on main house.
He came promptly and carried the work out extremely efficiently.
I will certainly use him again should the need arise.

After Storm Arwen needed ridge tiles refitted. Used the site as wanted a trustworthy company. Contacted Colin and he was very responsive. Provided a quote quickly, which was competitive, was honest that we would need wait a few weeks due to a backlog of work however, told me to contact him if there was water ingress (which there was not) and he would reprioritise us. Was in regular contact, knowledgeable and left the site tidy after they finished. Would not hesitate to recommend. Simon

L&E fixed an issue with the roof lining and cleaner the gutters. The customer service was excellent and the responsiveness of the company was excellent as well as the job was assessed, quoted and completed quickly. I couldn't give them a 5 for value for money only because having never had such a service before I found it difficult to judge that.

We encountered numerous problems with a flat roof and skylight installed by the builder of our new extension.

We called Colin when it became clear the builder was out of his depth - and Colin quickly resolved all issues to a very high standard. Not only did Colin come up with great solutions - but he kept cost to a minimum.

Excellent work by the team on a very old property - work on chimney which was previously causing damp in property, addition of 3 new breathable chimney pots, lead cladding on roof, gutter cleaning and aerial removal. L & E Roofing renewed a large flat roof, replaced my ridge, fitted vent tiles and installed uPVC trims on the front and rear roof verge.

When Colin from L & E first came to quote for the work I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Initially he quoted me for installation of a new rubber membrane on the flat roof and then subsequently for the ridge and verge. The quote was very reasonable for the work getting done.
They first came to do the flat roof which was completed over a few days. I am very happy with the quality of workmanship and with the guys that did the work.
They then came back to carry out the work on the ridge and verge. They installed a new dry ridge system which involved removal of the whole old ridge and cement work. They then explained to me that a plastic "tree" was installed onto which the new ridge tiles are fastened. Unlike the old cement fixed ridge, this should be maintenance free.
When installing the verge trims they actually spent a day putting some up which then then removed the next day as they weren't 100% satisfied with how they were sitting. I was very impressed with this as it showed their professionalism and commitment to the quality of their work.
Due to this, the work ended up taking them longer than they expected and they actually did much more than originally quoted for. I was more than happy to pay for this extra work but Colin refused to take a penny more than he had quoted.
I would have L & E Roofing back in AA heartbeat if I need anything else done!

Contacted Colin and he came out to view the job and quote, quote received same day.

Accepted quote (excellent value for money) and arranged to complete the work in a few days which we very happy with as we had a leaking roof when it rained.

Word done and he did extra jobs which we did not ask him to quote for (cleared the gutters) so can not recommend Colin and his guys enough. We will 100% be using them again when required.

Could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The quote was very good and Colin and team arrived on time -all prepared - no excuses - nothing left to chance. After high winds some ridge tiles had come loose and we needed all the ridge tiles checked as we were unhappy with previous work by another roofer.
Colin came promptly and discussed the job, advising that all the ridge needed removed, old mortar cleaned off and then reattached.
His quote seemed reasonable.
Work commenced a few weeks later (it had been stormy so he was very busy)
The team of roofers were very pleasant and helpful, informing us of what was happening at every stage.
Work was completed in a few days and the team made sure the garden was cleaned up

Really small job on a leaking drainpipe which lots of tradesman might not have thought was worth their while, but Colin came out no problem. Fixed it on the spot and then even used the hosepipe to check the repair had worked. Friendly, helpful and always responds to emails. Would highly recommend.

The roughcasting had come loose on my chimney due to the weather.
I convinced myself the whole house was needing re-done and was letting my mind run wild about the expense.
I phoned L and E at 3pm and he arrived first thing next morning to assess the job.
Mr Edwards quickly assured me that the job wasn't as big as I had first thought and talked me out of having the whole house done.
An estimate was sent within 2 hours and upon acceptance, Mr Edward's had his staff along making safe the loose roughcast as I have small kids running wild.
2 days later the scaffolding arrived followed by the squad from L and E who had the job done in a day and a half.
I'm delighted with the work done, overall cost and the time it took to complete.
Mr Edwards is a thoroughly decent bloke, polite and professional and I will have no hesitation to call upon his services again should the need arise.

We were lucky! They got a postponement and so offered us the space. First experience of a rubber roof (EPDM), but Colin came and laid our fears to rest. Work was done when they said and completed to a high standard when they said.
No more leaks on our flat roof!! Thank you.

I contacted Colin when some harling became loose and started falling to the ground. He arrived the next day to look at it and immediately went up on to the roof and made it as safe as possible as a temporary measure. He showed us photos of the problems and also the broken roof tiles where the harling had smashed down onto them. He sent an estimate that evening, which we accepted and agreed he would start the work asap. Unfortunately the weather quickly caused even more damage and Colin and his men arrived within a couple of days to start work. They were quick, tidy, efficient and very friendly. Colin kept us informed of the progress by email and photos each evening. They tidied up as they went along and we are extremely happy with the work. We would definately recommend them.
