Extensive renovation, including insulation, replacement of all upstairs plasterboard, plaster skimmed, new lighting, new doors, replacement velux window, en-suite upgrade, new flooring plus other items.The team were excellent, all work completed to a high standard , meeting expectation. I would thoroughly recommend them.

A new central heating boiler was installed at my mother's house (she is aged over 100) so I was dealing with it on her behalf..

The boiler installation was subcontracted by GGE to East Lothian Plumbers, with assistance from an electrician and joiner from GGE. It was all done in a day and is still going well 8 weeks later.

The only problem was been not being kept informed of progress. I had to keep phoning up to find the position. At one point I was told "the boiler should be with us on Friday or Monday and we could probably fit it on the Wednesday". It was not confirmed that it was to be be fitted on the Wednesday so it was lucky that I called at my mother's house and found the installers milling around outside, as my mother had denied them access. Had the installation date been confirmed I would have been there before the installers. However, all is well that ends well, just that communication could have been much improved.

( knocking down dividing wall and full refit of new kitchen) were very reliable trustworthy professional and friendly. We were always kept informed on how the work was progressing by Hamish.

We had a complete kitchen refit to replace old units and appliances. The work included repair and plastering to walls and ceiling. Also installed flooring and skirting to kitchen, living room and hallway and rehanging of internal sliding doors.

Most important for us was Hamish's attention to detail, dedication to providing a professional job and his availability in terms of updating on schedule etc. His team were extremely reliable, courteous and tidy. Cannot thank Hamish and the boys enough for fixing drainage issues we had within our store. They quickly identified the issue and it was fixed without any upheaval to the shop.

We had plastering and joinery repairs done in our kitchen, following removal of an old pantry cupboard. Hamish came out to provide a quote within a couple of hours of contacting GGE. The workmen turned up on time, the job was finished quickly and to a high standard and they left the kitchen tidy and clean. They even did a small plastering repair in another room at no additional cost. Very happy with the work and would definitely use GGE again. Excellent customer service and reasonable price.

We recently had a lot of multi-trade work done in our house (joinery, plumbing, electrical, decorating, plastering, and carpet and floor fitting) and Robin and the crew were amazing from the minute they came to measure up the job. Robin worked closely with us from start to finish to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and kept us informed of the work at every step of the way.

We recently had some plastering work done on our house. GGE is a very professional outfit and carried out this job at very short notice. They always came when they said they would, did the work quickly and efficiently and to a very high standard. They also always cleaned up afterwards, so absolutely no mess.

Full Kitchen and Living Room revamp, new ceilings built in both took 2 aging rooms and made them look extremely modern. Really pleased with the work carried out and the end result. Excellent Tradesmen.

Having been let down or disappointed by the lack of reliability, quality of work or prohibitive costs of so many tradespeople in the past, I am delighted to have finally found a company and workers who not only completed the work to a very high standard, at reasonable cost, but proved reliable, friendly, honest and accommodating. They turned up when they said they would, they were pleasant, professional, and got the job done. And they tidied up after themselves! It was novel to be able to trust a company so fully and to have that faith justified every step of the way.
The job included structural changes, plastering, plumbing, electric...and nothing was ever too much trouble and I was delighted with each and every aspect of the completed work. I could not recommend them highly enough and will definitely use them again. I have already passed details on to friends and family.
