Roof on an existing dwelling

Our roof was needing tiles , membrane and boarding replaced and by luck our neighbour had been in contact with Kenny at Mullden roofing and had arranged for him to come and see both roofs. Kenny arrived as arranged and gave us a price and start date.
Kenny and his sons started the work when they said they would. Arriving every day on time , working through ,only stopping for a short break.
They were friendly, efficient , hard working and tidy. They cleaned the site , making sure everything was watertight and safe before leaving every day .
We are very pleased with their excellent workmanship and new roof ,and how spotless the work site was on completion.
We would definitely recommend Mullden Roofing .

My bungalow needed retiling and this work has just been completed. Kenny and his boys worked really hard in some awful weather to ensure when they left for a weekend of expected rain that it was watertight.
They commenced the work when they said they would and finished within they time specified. The roof tiles ,,batons , membrane and panels are all replaced and it looks great. All the old roofing materials were removed and the site kept clean.
The garden and surrounding area has been cleared of any rubbish .
Would I recommend them ? Absolutely, in fact I have been singing their praises since they started the work.

Had our Boat Shed re-roofed by Mullden Roofing which was recently completed to the highest standard of workmanship and carried out with sound advice and complete proffesionalism from start to finish.

We had been looking for a roofer since 2020 and most that we contacted didn't respond. We finally found Kenny and his sons late 2022. They came out, assessed the job gave us a favourable price and a time range (weather dependent) for the job. They started a month early, were punctual, pleasant to deal with, hard working regardless of weather conditions and completed the work which included an extension and a flat roof to a very high standard. Would be glad to recommend Kenny, Paul and Craig to anyone.

Mullden Roofers have installed a complete new slate roof to our home. They started the work exactly when they said they would, and their work ethic was exceptional. We are very pleased with the result of their work, and they did everything we asked them to do - and more. The finish on the completed work is very pleasing, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Kenny and his sons to anyone who needs a new roof. They were very friendly, very pleasant and were there every day on time - even coming to us one dry Sunday when their work had been slightly delayed during the previous week due to rain. They cleared up after themselves every day, left absolutely no mess whatsoever. Having had a bad experience in the past with a different roofer, we are delighted that we have now found a local roofer who we can trust completely.

Gable ridge water ingress, existing cement seal removed, batons removed and replaced, tiles removed new flashing provided, some tiles replaced, new gaiter for vent pipe, barge boards fitted and new upvc overhang fitted, gutters extended.

The work was completed in one and a half days, the crew turned up on time each day, only stopped for lunch, were very informative and considerate. They cleaned up thoroughly after them on each day.
The overall cost was a little less than the estimate and all work undertaken was fully explained before started.
Would recommend as great value and will use again if required.

Highly delighted with my new roof. The guys pushed the boat out to ensure that my property was wind and water tight going into the worst of the winter weather. During the re roof the weather was awful, howling wind and rain. However, they turned up every day (unless it was unsafe to go on the roof) to ensure that the job was finished on time. In addition they did a brilliant job of tidying up afterwards.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them, as their work is to a high standard .

Full re-slating of traditional house, together with addition of some roof windows, replacement of an ancient one, and replacement of door windows. Also replacement of some rotted timbers resulting from water ingress because of failure of old roof and gutters.
Kenny and the boys did an excellent job of it, despite the worst that the Scottish weather could throw at them on some days and we never had any problems with water coming in once they got to work. It's not the quickest getting this done, and there's obviously a bit of a wait between booking the work and them being available to do it. And being slate, it's not the cheapest job in the world. But it is what it is, and we are very happy with the job. It should now be good for the next few decades...

We had our roof completely re slated. Very reliable workers. Arrived early each day and worked hard in all weather. Everything was left clean and tidy. We are very happy with completed work.

I had been let down by a previous roofer and we were in despair until Kenny came along. He did everything he said he would do and more. Why did I not know of this man before I started looking for a roofer? I will never go to anyone else although it may be impossible to get his services since he will be in great demand. Kenny and his lads left the place so tidy when the work was completed and my wife said it was worth getting his services if only for the tidy.

Roofing is a trade with a very mixed reputation. My old two storey plus attic dormers old house needed a complete re-slate. Until the old roof is stripped you don't know the true extent of the work. Having spent many years in the building trade I was aware that often the money is made on the extras. In my case the roof required a considerable amount of sarking replacement, not included in the original quote. Kenny made me aware of how much he was using and provided photo evidence of the roof. When the invoice arrived it was for the original quote plus a reasonable amount for sarking and labour. I did not feel the need to query the invoice at all. This is a family business which shows in the work ethic, right down to the excellent tidy up on completion.

We had all our old wooden soffits and fascias replaced/covered with upvc. We honestly couldn't be happier with the job done or the service received.

We felt it was good value for money and we were delighted with the end result. The men were polite and hard working and even refused any drinks/biscuits to get on with the job, even in the pouring rain! They came when they said they would, did what they said they would and charged what they said they would.

Complete re-roofing of detached house.
Work was done by a team of four, lead by the boss. They arrived early each day and worked hard. They were always friendly and cheerful, creating a good working atmosphere. They communicated well and kept us well informed of their progress and any problems. At the end of the job everything was left clean and tidy.
