Review a trader

I recently chose Mullden Roofing to re-roof a traditional 1½ storey detached house.
They came to me by way of recommendation from a neighbour, so I was able to see the quality of their work plus have a personal recommendation before speaking to them.

The firm is family run by Kenny who is one of the nicest guys you could meet, he turned up when he said he would to do a quote, was prompt in preparing it and in my opinion it was good value. My only decision was whether or not to wait for his availability as it was a few months away before they could do the job but I guess that's the price of using well regarded tradesmen, they are always in demand and always busy.

I decided to wait and I'm so glad I did. Kenny kept me up to date with any changes and was even able to pull the job forward despite the bad weather this year.

They turned up on time, did a fantastic job and left as if they had never been there, perfect.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and I have even booked them again to do a second job.

We contracted with Sovereign Stone to repair and repoint the sandstone facade of our mid terrace, two storey house in a conservation area. Before the work was done, James was exceedingly helpful in helpful us understand the process of restoring the facade, in finding out what did and did not require Glasgow Council permission, in arranging for scaffolding, and in suggesting who could be contacted for the window paint and mastic work . The actual stonemason work was completed by James and two stonemasons who work with him. All three are professional and skilled, and James showed exceptional artistry in the case of major repair to damaged sandstone blocks. Altogether, the Sovereign Stone team made our old (over 100 years) house look as grand as it can.

The best! Just re-tiled our roof, including replacing several timbers, fascias, soffits etc. Beautiful result and it no longer rains in the living room!

Communication was great and the guys were always on site when they said they’d be. Job finished when expected and included a thorough clean up of the site.

Price was good and I can’t recommend them enough. I’m a repeat customer (for different properties) and that probably says it all.

I needed a spur run from my distribution board to an external lantern outside my front door. Mark was on time, courteous, and new what had to be done. I would not hesitate on hiring him or Envision again.

I was just having the annual boiler service. Steven was totally reliable in keeping me updated on van issues and timing. He cracked on with the job when he arrived and completed it in a courteous manner.

So happy with my new garden. Service was great from start to finish. Even with the heavy rain terrible rain the boys working. Total determination.

Bryan did some soundproofing for us recently and it's made a huge difference. He was quick and reliable, his team were as unobtrusive as it's possible to be when you're having building work done, pricing was fair, communication was clear. Would definitely recommend.
