Review a trader

Mark did an excellent job decorating two rooms for us. He gave really useful advice on what was needed, and when the time came to do the work he did exactly what was agreed and to a very high standard - still not sure how he managed to get such straight edges! Everything was left clean and tidy as well. We’re very pleased with everything and have already booked for more rooms to be done.

S B Heating and Gas Services looks after our home boiler, central heating and gas fire each year and is always a pleasure to have around. He is prompt, courteous and extremely efficient in his work and conduct. We can highly recommend him.

Steven was very quick to respond and to arrange a visit. He was very responsive to querys and to updates on arrival time. He arrived bang on time and efficiently carried out the service and certification. He was really good explaining to me what he was doing, and advising me. I used Balhousie for supply only of a sliding patio door and a PVC door. The service was fast and reliable and the products are great quality.

Sid installed our new toilet in November 2025. The only problem was the seat kept sliding to the right hand side. The problem is actually a manufacturing fault as the seat should be secured on both sides not just in the centre. Sid two bolts on either side which so far - no problems. Sid also re-sealed around the bath to ensure no leaks of water under the bath. And gave us a lot of good advice.

Sid is quite knowledgeable in his trade and vast experience. Yes I would employ Sid again if required. No problem.

Steven arrived on time and carried out my job very well to meet all requirements. He left the work area very tidy when he finished and I’ll be contacting him in future for any other work needing carried out.
His quote for carrying out the work was very competitive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other customers.

Needed a new thermostatic shower fitted and Sid turned up when he said he would to look at the job, on a Friday. He promptly produced a quote, which I agreed on, and he turned up on time on the following Monday to do the work.

Work was excellent and was really pleased with the end result
