We had a metal handrail fitted to some internal steps in our house. It was an unusual request, but from Paul's first visit he understood what was required. The work was carried out very efficiently by two metal fitters who took a great deal of time and trouble to leave no mess.
The staff in the office were very pleasant and helpful also.

Removal of wall between lounge and kitchen, install of steel beam, install of kitchen.
Fantastic service from start to finish, suggesting alternatives to my ideas to get a perfect finish in the end. Some minor snags, as expected in a large project all dealt with with no fuss.
Highly recommended, excellent communication, very friendly, clean and tidy throughout the job.

We urgently required a new oven and were so relieved that a local company, Young Joinery, were able to supply and fit an oven for us at short notice . They have done work for many of our neighbours and always to a high standard, so they were an obvious choice for us. Can't thank Angela, (in the showroom) enough for her friendliness and assistance in solving our problem. Will certainly contact Young Joinery again in the future for any home improvements.

My PCV door split in the middle and got replaced by Young joinery. Very impressed with the exact replication of my old front door, same typeface of the number in the matt glass, even reinstalled my catflap within about an hour work.

Fitting of new bathroom, following a leak which damaged the floor. Angela was excellent at advising on what the best solution would be and the fittings and materials that would work in the space. She created a detailed quote, which helped in the planning. It was revised after we visited the showroom. She also provided a schedule of exactly how the work would be done, day by day, which was very reassuring.
The team carrying out the work were really efficient, though also friendly and helpful. They did a great job and we were delighted with the result.
There was one problem with the water temperature in the shower, but the plumber came out quickly and resolved it.
We would definitely use Young Joinery again and highly recommend their work and the efficiency of their communications and project management.

I wanted to give my kitchen a lift with more modern colours and styles. On chatting with Angela I soon realised that this was a company that I could do business with. All members of staff were friendly, polite and really knew their stuff. I was given timings of when each trade would arrive. The kitchen fitters wasted no time followed by the gas fitter, electrician and painter. All arrived on time one after the other. Perfect organisation. My new kitchen was left spotless. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul and his team and will certainly call on their services in future. My thanks to all involved.

The pane on one of my patio doors had mysteriously shattered whilst I was out. I phoned Young Joinery and was advised to “clingfilm”. Scott was out the following day to assess the damage and provide a very reasonable quote. Six days later a tradesman and his assistant visited the property and fitted the new pane very efficiently. Very happy with the work done and the cost.

Have and would recommned Young Joiners. We couldn't be happy with the service we have had.
They completed a full re-fit of our house in 3 months. Usual snaggin issues but nothing major. Team are all friendly easy to communicate with and completed exactly what we were looking for.
The work - Downstairs knocked down a wall and installed new steel beam to make an open plan living space. Installed new Kitchen, flooring, doors, new bathroom with shower. Bricked up an window and two doorways. Removed old chimney through from ground level, up to the rough. So retiled roof to fill hole from chinmey. removed external coal bunker. ensured the house was gravel rendered where window and coal bunker were.
Upstairs knocked down wall with built in wardrobes and put up a new wall. Took out old boiler cupboard to make bathroom bigger and square. Completely refitted bathroom. Installed new stair banister.
House - removed old wiring and installed new wires, lights, and network cabling. Removed old plumbing system and boiler. Installed with new plumbing and boiler system.
Porch - installed cladding, new windows and new front door.

Excellent service and work carried out to the utmost professional standard. Staff are courteous, friendly and highly skilled. Spot-on advice given during the pricing of a job. Various work carried out on our old home before selling and so impressed that we used Young Joinery again in our new home. From hanging pictures, mending staircase spindle, designing and installing bespoke bookcase to designing and installing new doors in a listed building, every job done to the highest standard.

Just had a new Rock Door fitted and installed and I couldn't fault the workmanship of the 2 guys that were here. Very polite and just got on with the job ..From start to finish it was so good and everyone involved was so polite and the girls in the office were brilliant.When the guys had finished you couldn't tell i had work done as they cleaned up so well and took all the old stuff away. Would definitely recommend Young Joinery and are my to go traders :)

Following a significant leak of water while I was away from the premises, a full renovation to upstairs toilet, repair and re-plaster kitchen ceiling, complete re-flooring in all water-damaged ground floor rooms, new internal doors fitted to replace water- damaged doors, and redecoration of whole ground floor.
Completely satisfied with all aspects of work done, service provided and communication throughout the work, which also involved liason with property insurers.

We first contacted Young Joinery in May to get a quote for replacing three internal doors, doorframes and a cupboard door. After 2 years with no doors, we were thrilled to receive a phone call from Angela within minutes to set up an appointment for Paul to visit and give us a quote. Paul was prompt and very friendly, gave us some quick advice on some damp issues whilst he was taking measurements (thank you by the way- it worked!) and we had a quote through within a couple of days. Upon agreeing to the quote, Angela and Lisa were brilliant about contacting us when needed- some of the doors we chose weren’t available, Lisa helped us to choose alternatives which we were really happy with and Angela let us know when they would arrive to install.

On the day the work was done, the team turned up promptly (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch their names!), were really friendly and kept us updated on their progress. They really went above and beyond to ensure things were done to an excellent standard and we were thrilled with the outcome. They were more than happy to answer our many questions and explained what they had done in each area- they then cleaned up and disposed of rubbish for us. We now have lovely doors and are much better prepared for winter.

On top of all the work listed above, a few days prior to the doors being done during heavy rain, Young Joinery were able to assist us in getting an electrician at short notice when our electrics went and one of our sockets and plugs exploded!

Our experience with Young Joinery has been excellent from start to finish- we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and when we are ready to complete the next bits of our home, we will absolutely be back. Clear communication, fantastic standard of work and amazing follow up. Thank you so much!

Had a small kitchen refurbishment - alterations to worktops, change of unit doors and re-positioning of an island extractor fan, new kick plates, a new kitchen unit and some minor unit adjustments. It actually looks like a new kitchen but at a fraction of the price! Young's have done work for me in the past so wanted to use them again as they are so reliable and efficient. Turned up exactly on time, kept me involved in the work, did a marvellous job and cleaned up afterwards. Had a follow up call and a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a thank you for using them - what more could you possibly want. Particularly like the fact that they are more than happy to carry out work of any size and I'm one very happy customer with a "new" kitchen.

Excellent workmanship, professional, prompt, tidy.

Garden fencing was erected. The workmen arrived on time and the work was carried out promptly and efficiently. We are very satisfied with the results.

We had the shower in our en suite replaced. Paul listened to what we wanted and suggested suitable products. Quote was acceptable. The joiners, plumber and decorator were all friendly and efficient, as was the lady in the office. The workmen were all good at tidying up. Very happy with the work done and would use again.
