My boiler had been working for 15 years and finally stopped. Gas-Tec had good reviews so I called them. Their staff tried hard to restart the boiler but couldn't. I agreed to get a quote for replacement and wasn't charged for the time the two guys were here.

The quote was very reasonable (I checked the boiler price online) and I signed up to their quote.

The installation took a day, plus new
gas supply piping and some work on blockages. They returned twice to completely cure the blocks and the house now resembles an oven!

The guys are very friendly, tidy, and efficient.

I'd definitely use them again.

Boiler replaced and moved in the kitchen to another wall. The service from start to finish was excellent. Our engineer was professional, helpful and friendly. A complete different experience from our last boiler fitted by another company. He even filled in the holes left previously and explained exactly what he had done. We will most definitely use them again though hopefully not too soon ! And recommend without a doubt

Had to have a new boiler fitted. Kevin of Gas-Tec attended the house to give an estimate and reassured us he could get the job done quickly. He certainly stood by his word. Both Josh and Kevin turned up at exactly the time and day suggested. Very quickly took out the old boiler and fitted the new one within a few hours. Afterwards Josh went over the area with wipes, cleaning up any places he had touched, then cleaned the floors, which was hardly necessary since they had put down floor coverings before starting. Kevin then attended the house a few days later to check everything was ok, flushed through the system again and made sure we were happy with what had been done.
Without doubt this has to be one of the most efficient and friendly companies in Fife. should I require it in future, I would not hesitate in getting them to fit a new boiler. I recommend Gas-Tec for anyone needing boiler work carried out. Thank you Kevin and Josh.

Gas-Tec responded very quickly to a call-out late on a Friday, then installed a new central heating boiler at short notice. Very good service.

From point of initial contact and pricing to end fitting, this was a fully professional service. Fully kept up to date at all stages, staff turned up at 0800 and had system changed over to a combi with very little damage or distress. All carpets were protected at all times and area was cleaned and hoovered at end of the job. Kevin and Josh provided a great service, very polite, explained the system fully when complete. Ideal Vogue Max now has the house super warm. Can’t recommend them enough.

I have been using Gas-Tec for over 10 years. My husband and I have renovated several properties. On two occasions full central heating systems others new boiler installation and maintenance. I always obtain 2 or 3 quotes from local companies on every job and Kevin at Gas-Tec has been given the work every time. They are clean and efficient. Efficient, friendly, replaced our boiler with very little disruption or hassle.

Supplied and installed Ideal boiler. The quote process was straightforward and the fitting was arranged quickly, despite high demand following COVID restrictions. Engineer arrived on time, was very polite and wore appropriate PPE. The engineer talked me through the fitting process and was very accommodating about my specific request that the flue not be moved if at all possible, whilst explaining why this might not be possible. Boiler was fitted within expected timescales and the engineer did a very neat job, with minimal disruption both inside and outside, and cleaned up after they had finished. They explained how to operate the boiler and who to contact in case of any problems, which has not been needed. The boiler is working perfectly and overall I am very happy with the work undertaken and the boiler itself. Highly recommended trader.
