My boiler gave a loud bang on 8th March and it completely shut down. I called Gas-Tec who came out the same day. I ordered a new boiler and Gas-Tec came and put the new one in on Saturday 9th March. Very nice and obliging. I can't thank them enough.

My Combi Boiler broke down on the day (Wednesday) a very cold spell of weather started. I contacted Gas-Tec and they promptly arranged for a new boiler to be fitted on the following Monday. I was very pleased with this as I was concerned it would take much longer, leaving me without any hot water or heating. The boiler was fitted by Kevin and one of his colleagues while I was at work. When I came home from work I was very impressed to find the new boiler installed and the area of work was very tidy and clean - there was no sign that any work had been done that day. I found Kevin (and all the team at Gas-Tec) very easy to work with and I was delighted with their honesty, hard work and professionalism. Would 100% recommend Gas-Tec !

My old boiler stopped working at night. Gas-Tec came at 8am the next morning. It was too old to fix, therefore they gave me an acceptable quote for a new boiler. Even though the next day was a Saturday which they don't normally work, they appeared at 8am and by 11.30 they had fitted my new boiler. An exceptional service.

I have used Gas-Tec Fife three times in the last 2.5 years. They are the best in my opinion. They changed the radiators when I first moved in and have recently had the old boiler changed over to a nice new Ideal Vogue.
They are very knowledgeable, just get on with the job and clean up very well after they're done. All the guys are nice from the apprentice to the boss, Gary, and the receptionist Alison. I wouldn't use any other company.

Found these guys on Fife Trusted Trader coming out of lockdown in 2020 and used them for all heating and gas works ever since. Friendly, great service and highly skilled. Reliable and on time. Boiler fitted in one day with minimal disruption and mess. This included removal of a HW cylinder and conversion to a combi system too. Very happy. Thanks Kevin!

Gas-Tec came and replaced our old boiler which had been condemned. They carried out the work swiftly and efficiently. The workforce were courteous and fully explained the operation of the new boiler.

Contacted the firm for a boiler service; to change a radiator; to move a wall themostat, and to install 2 thermostatic radiator valves onto existing radiators. All work completed with the absolute minimum of fuss, everything clean and tidy and the engineers were pleasant and helpful.

Used Gas-Tec 5 years ago for a new boiler install at previous address in Cowdenbeath and would not fault them. Now at new address in Dunfermline Gas-Tec gave nest quote from 3 for another new boiler install and gave excellent advice without any "hard sell". Friendly and helpful installing engineer who fixed previous old installer faults and explained all workings. Also gave best annual service costs by good margin which included a 'pensioner' discount.

My boiler had been working for 15 years and finally stopped. Gas-Tec had good reviews so I called them. Their staff tried hard to restart the boiler but couldn't. I agreed to get a quote for replacement and wasn't charged for the time the two guys were here.

The quote was very reasonable (I checked the boiler price online) and I signed up to their quote.

The installation took a day, plus new
gas supply piping and some work on blockages. They returned twice to completely cure the blocks and the house now resembles an oven!

The guys are very friendly, tidy, and efficient.

Had to have a new boiler fitted. Kevin of Gas-Tec attended the house to give an estimate and reassured us he could get the job done quickly. He certainly stood by his word. Both Josh and Kevin turned up at exactly the time and day suggested. Very quickly took out the old boiler and fitted the new one within a few hours. Afterwards Josh went over the area with wipes, cleaning up any places he had touched, then cleaned the floors, which was hardly necessary since they had put down floor coverings before starting. Kevin then attended the house a few days later to check everything was ok, flushed through the system again and made sure we were happy with what had been done.
Without doubt this has to be one of the most efficient and friendly companies in Fife. should I require it in future, I would not hesitate in getting them to fit a new boiler. I recommend Gas-Tec for anyone needing boiler work carried out. Thank you Kevin and Josh.

Supplied and installed Ideal boiler. The quote process was straightforward and the fitting was arranged quickly, despite high demand following COVID restrictions. Engineer arrived on time, was very polite and wore appropriate PPE. The engineer talked me through the fitting process and was very accommodating about my specific request that the flue not be moved if at all possible, whilst explaining why this might not be possible. Boiler was fitted within expected timescales and the engineer did a very neat job, with minimal disruption both inside and outside, and cleaned up after they had finished. They explained how to operate the boiler and who to contact in case of any problems, which has not been needed. The boiler is working perfectly and overall I am very happy with the work undertaken and the boiler itself. Highly recommended trader.
