I have just moved into my new home and needed to replace the old boiler with a new Combi. Vulcan were friendly, informative, efficient and gave me confidence in the appliance and I feel lucky to have found a company I can go to for any future plumbing/gas needs.

We have had three jobs carried out by this company, the jobs were toilet flush replacement, hand basin tap value replacement and today we got a shower door replaced and fitted. We have had Des, his son and another member of the team. A great company and team.
Highly recommend the knowledge, skill and experience, they advised what the problem was, knew right away what was needed to fix it, ordered the part and the work carried out to excellent standard.
The office staff I commuicated with by phone and email provided great customer service.
Highly recommend this company and will definately get them to do work I need and plan to in the future.

My new bathroom looks lovely. Des and Joe arrived punctually as arranged, worked methodically through each day, and finished within the estimated time. It's always easy to discuss things with them, and everything was left clean and tidy at the end.

Des and Joe are what I expect from a professional service. Courteous, considerate and an excellent job done. They called ahead of time as requested, did the job efficiently and left my house as they had found it. Joe carried out the annual maintenance check for my living flame gas fire. He arrived at the arranged time and his work was thorough. He was friendly and professional at all times. Also, the phone receptionist was helpful and was able to arrange a visit for me at fairly short notice.

So first things first, young lady on the phone took the upmost interest in dealing with my enquiry. From start to finish I felt I was looked after. I had a problem with my gas heating system along with an electrical issue in one of my flats. The response was rapid and dealt with within 24 hours of my first call. Des and Joe did a fantastic job installing our new boiler and resolving the water pressure issues we have had for years. Des talked me through a number of options before we settled on a make/model and was incredibly useful. They did a great job which we're delighted with. As a pleasant surprise Joe fixed one of our taps that had been plumbed the wrong way round without being asked - the kind of touch you don't see very often. Thanks guys.

They are such an great company to deal with. I was able to schedule work to be carried out at short notice. They are reliable, professional, trustworthy and do a really thorough job. They are also very clean and tidy.

I can honestly say they are the only company I will now use for any plumbing or gas engineer work.

Whenever I have a plumbing problem Vulcan Gas Services are the company that I always call first. No job is too small for them. A recent airlock in the upstairs cold-water pipe was sorted out by Des at very short notice for which I was very grateful, as he fitted-in this job to his schedule despite a generally heavy work-load. I regard this action as a real testament to the service that Vulcan provide. Des, his wife Sharon, his son and other co-workers are the epitome of a friendly, highly skilled, reliable and wholly trustworthy local family business. Called Vulcan Gas Services when we needed a boiler service and concealed flue inspection hatch fitted. We needed the job done quickly since we decided to rush through with a property move before our first baby arrived. Vulcan were quite busy but managed to fit us in relatively quickly, we were very happy with the work done..

I used Vulcan for the first time recently, and wish I had discovered them years ago! Des identified and discussed with me the cause of several problems I was experiencing with my heating system, then rectified them all to my complete satisfaction. He and his co-workers were courteous, friendly and informative. I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, and have already booked them to replace a gas fire burner.

Vulcan Gas installed my boiler about 2 years ago and I have used their plumbing services since for unrelated problems but this week Des earned my eternal gratitude by coming out to investigate and fix a leaking pipe the same afternoon I phoned. He managed to track down where a builder had put a screw through a copper pipe, taking up lino and floorboards, replacing damaged pipe and returning the room to rights, remaining friendly and cheerful throughout, despite it being well after 6 when he finished.

Initially had difficulty find a gas plumber who would still look after the Powermax boiler fitted as standard through my flats development). But Vulcan did, and I have continued to use them for boiler service. Will definitely be a preferred trader when the time comes for a replacement system too.

i have been using Vulcan for about 7 years. The team are great - always willing to help with plumbing emergencies at short notice- I am a landlord so this is important - whilst charging at a reasonable rate. Can highly recommend them

Called for an emergency involving a broken boiler and was told a new one would have to be ordered. The boiler was fitted in a day about 4 days after the original consultation and he even fitted a new light bulb in the hallway!
