Taylor Roofs

Engaged with Taylor Roofs to have 4 hips replaced on my roof. Found them expensive but went ahead as they came across well. The experience was not as expected. The hips were all out of alignment and they had to refit after I complained. The membrain barrier was not fitted properly and they had to reapply, again I had to push them on this. They also started flying a drone around my house without my permission taking photos, again I had to complain and stop them from doing this. I hate to think what kind of a mess there would have been was I not on top of the job.The job was to be signed off by a supervisor, he came out said he went up to inspect the job, and that he was happy with it. I asked how he got up the scaffolding and he said he climbed up it; so much for Health and Safety. After he left I checked my security cameras, and he did not go up at all, he just took pictures from ground level. I emailed the owner asking him to come and see me as I was unhappy with the job, he refused saying he does not see customer. It has now been 6 weeks since the job was completed, I do not think it is a very good job and still have 4 more hips to do and will be asking another firm to complete this work. I was promised my guarantee a week after completion, I called them and they said it was forth coming and I have still not received this over 6 weeks later

Had a new flat roof fitted by Taylor Roofing. Due to weather, etc quite a long time between deposit payment and original given start time, although the team then arrived 2 weeks early which was great. Robert and his co-worker (sorry, I have forgotten his name) were very friendly and seemed very happy in their work. They pushed to get the job completed, working late on the Friday evening and even though it was getting dark, still left everything very tidy and clean. Final price was reduced to take account of materials not used. Would recommend to others.

Expensive but good quality and the staff are great.

I used Taylor Roofs for building a warm roof on a garage conversion (to a garden room), and new roughcasting on side wall. I'm satisfied with the whole process. Quote was prompt and competitive. Work was done to a high standard. My only complaint is that there was very little time between some of the work being scheduled and carried out (ie less than one day), meaning it was difficult to warn my neighbour as he had to move his car.

Work was carried out in a timely manner and the office was great in communication with me. Would certainly recommend this to my friends if they needed their roof fixing.

Some tiles needed replacing on our roof. They arrived on time and completed the job within the time specified. The work at this point in time appears to be satisfactory.

Replaced watergate stripped out hatch and reslated stripped watergate replaced with lead. Straightened valley.

We have just had our cladding finished by Stephen and Daniel from Taylor Roofs and are really happy with the service provided. Moss removal from main roof plus extension, and application of fungicide to delay regrowth.

Extremely efficient service from initial survey, production of quote, helpful office staff keeping me updated by email of when work would be done, the workmen turning up on a snowy day yet completed the task inside the day (well done guys!) to receiving a final invoice and receipt clearly stating the successful payment.

No problems, they came, did the job and left, everything cleared away no mess no fuss, exactly what you want, and nice polite guys into the bargain.

I had felt replaced on the lower part of my roof and the gutter also replaced. I have used this trader before as I know they do a good job. The men on this job arrived promptly and worked quickly with no time wasted. They took pride in their work and took photos at each stage to show me on completion. They were very tidy and cleared up when finished. They were two personable young men who were a credit to their employer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Taylor roofs.

The men doing the work gave me a good briefing on the work being carried out and explained how the tiles are fitted and lock together.
