We’re Sweet Homes, a small Edinburgh team specialising in home renovations and bespoke joinery. We work mostly in tenements, villas and family homes, and we keep every project clear, tidy and properly managed from start to finish.

I contacted Brunon about a small tiling job but he ended up also doing a plastering/painting job following a roof leak. Both jobs were done in the same day and you would never know he had been there! Everything was cleaned up and looking great when he left.
I have just received the invoice and am more than happy with the price. I will certainly be using Brunon again if I need similar work done.

Brunon replaced several silicone seals in bathroom and kitchen, repaired a curtain track and fixed a toilet flush that somebody else had not managed to install properly. Without instructions, it took him a while to work it out, but it now flushes beautifully. He failed to repair a leaking stopcock because a replacement was needed, but told us where to get the replacement, what exactly was needed and how to do the job. Hope we won't disappoint his confidence in our DIY abilities.
We will definitely ask Brunon again if we need expert help and have already recommended him to friends.

Brunon and his team installed a window seat, restored some side panelling to a bay window, and redid my hallway and bathroom flooring.
When going through the quote he was easy to talk to, understood exactly what I needed for the window seat, and made a number of recommendations on the spot to improve the flooring.
For the bathroom flooring he made recommendations around what type of flooring I should use and communicated this clearly. At the last minute I decided to include hallway flooring and Brunon adjusted the quote and still completed the job within the initial timescales.
Throughout the work he was easy to get in contact with and provided updates. Despite working in a small flat he minimized disruption and tidied up after himself.
Would definitely use Brunon and his team again.

Brunon recently carried out some improvement work for me at an outside cellar door. He was not at all phased by the problem and came up with, what appears to be, a very neat and inventive solution. Brunon is a very tidy worker, pleasant and courteous and I have asked him to return to do another job for me when he has time.

We've had a number of jobs of various types done by Brunon (and Alex) including plastering, bathroom, plumbing, tiling, ceilings and general finishing. Brunon always pays great attention to detail, is very polite and good-humoured, and very versatile and creative in problem-solving. He restored our faith after some bad experiences and will henceforth be our only port of call for any house or garden job as we would rather wait for his availability than risk going with anyone else.

I had recently moved into a property and needed a few jobs done that I could not do myself and needed someone who was skilled and competent to complete them to a good standard and in a timely manner, Brunon achieved all of this in 7 hours work.
The jobs included securing an over the bath glass concertina shower screen into a tiled wall, purchasing and replacing bathroom sink taps, securing a hand towel holder into a tiled wall, assembled and secured an Ikea bathroom cabinet into a tiled wall, disconnecting a plug and aerial point, filling it in and plastering over it and plastering over where a TV wall mount had been removed.
Brunon worked around an installation issue with the shower screen with no hesitation and was clearly competent in using additional materials to do the job.
Brunon worked cheerfully yet discreetly whilst I worked from home. He observed social distancing and gave me to reason to doubt his honesty or integrity with regards the job. He also fully cleaned up after the job.
I will have no hesitation to use Brunon again.

We needed some urgent repairs to the ageing front door of our tenement stair. Brunon’s response time was brilliantly swift, diagnosing the issues and doing a temporary repair in what felt like a miracle of efficiency.
When replacement parts arrived he returned and did a very thorough job, communicating helpfully and working solidly.
His price for what felt like gold- standard service was very reasonable.
Employing Brunon again and recommending him to others is a no-brainer!

Brunon always answers his emails and attempts to fit you in. In this case he came three days after I made contact. There were two jobs to do and he had to do an element of problem solving for the first which was great. The second job was time consuming but he assured me it would be done within the day, it was. Brunon is very reliable and personable, he is a very tidy and conscientious workman and I will use again.

Brunon replaced a mortice lock very promptly. It involved a bit of work as the new one was larger than the original. He took care with adjustments and made sure I was happy with it. He arrived on time and cleared up efficiently.
Mask, gloves and distance kept, in the light of Covid 19, so no worries on this score.
