We were recommended Scott Eco Builders from a friend who had previous used then and we found the very professional, courteous and friendly review of the company to be absolutely correct with Mike doing an excellent job.

We requested the flat we had just purchased to be repainted throughout and Mike was able to slot us in at short notice. After an initial consultation, we were advised on the most suitable type of paint to purchase for each area of the flat (we have an 18 month old child so wipe clean walls are a must!) and after selecting the colour Mike purchased the paint and met us at the flat on the selected start date.

We got a number of calls throughout the job to let us know how the job was progressing and once finished. The end result is to a very high standard and the flat has been left immaculately clean.

Michal and his team did an excellent job in replacing bathrooms and fitted a new utility room. The quality of their workmanship was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Total renovation of our New Town flat - new flooring throughout, new walls put up, two new bathrooms, new kitchen in different room, installing the kitchen, new hung ceilings in every room (8), all plastered and painted. New bathrooms installed, with showers, sinks and baths. a massive job and Mike and his team were great through out and very helpful. If you want any pics, please ask Mike or take alook at their instagram. They brought in the plumbers and the electrician, both great. I have already recommended them to a friend.

I highly recommend Mike, Igor and the guys. They were quick to come out and quote for the job and once they started they worked hard to complete the job to a tight deadline. Nothing was too much trouble and we received constant updates. They left the house spotless. The result is fantastic and the standard of workmanship extremely high. Will definelty use them again.

Mike and his team made a lovely job of putting our bathroom back together after it had to be taken apart to deal with a damp problem. They had to refit the bath, shower, shower screen, sink and cabinet. They removed what was left of the electric underfloor heating and floor tiles and replaced with new. They fitted wet wall around the bath. We’re very happy with the work they did. They are very professional and friendly. Nothing was a problem that couldn’t be resolved. They arrived when they said they would. We’d be very happy to use them again.

Michal and his team (Ludo, István, Henrietta etc) completed the renovation of a small 1930s semi-detached bungalow from May to July 2025. The makeover included work in each room of the house, a new bathroom, new kitchen and replastering of all the walls and ceilings, new flooring in each room (herringbone LVF and ceramic tiles), new internal doors and painting/decorating.
I am delighted with the work done. Michal constantly strives to provide solutions and enhancements. Nothing is too much trouble for him and his team. For example, his suggestions in the kitchen far exceeded my expectations - lowered ceiling with excellent lighting and a new stud wall which simplified the wonky layout. My home is completely transformed.
The team worked long hours and most weekends to get everything done within the time frame. I only had to move out of the property for 3 weeks which was remarkable considering the scale of the work done.
A payment schedule was drawn up at the start and it was transparent and fair. Final payment was not expected until I was satisfied with the work. I believe the total cost was very fair for the amount of work done.
I can recommend Scott-Eco Builders without hesitation. This is the second occasion I have asked Michal to do work for me. Each time he has exceeded my expectations. A great person to work with. His team are highly skilled and a pleasure to work with.

Scott-Eco Builders recently did a complete remodel of our bathroom, removing everything in it, updated the old plumbing, and fit in a new bathtub, sink, toilet and towel radiator. Michal and his team were fantastic throughout the whole project. The tile work is exquisite and the entire finish is beautiful. They were also incredibly tidy and took care to clean up every day. Moreover, they were very nice to work with - incredibly friendly and considerate. We would not hesitate to ask Scot-Eco Builders to complete another project in our home and I have already recommended them to a friend.

Living in Sheffield and new to Edinburgh, l had to rely on reviews from this site...and I’m glad I did. Michal and Igor have been outstanding in their service. They have been flexible under unforeseen circumstances and knowledgeable in creating solutions. They have communicated almost daily with texts and photos. They have kept their sense of humour throughout and just about kept within budget. The standard of the completed renovation is very high and
I would not hesitate to use them again and will be very happy to recommend them.

Scott-eco Builders completely renovated my flat. This included replacing the kitchen and bathroom plus tiling both. I was very pleased with the result. The walls and ceilings required plastering throughout. The work was all of a high standard and completed on the time scale given. Many different trades were involved and Mike kept me well informed as the work progressed.

Michal and the team helped to transform a seriously water damaged kitchen, bathroom, and adjacent areas back to the original with a deadline to meet . Everyone worked exceptionally hard but also efficiently, and always discussed details beforehand. I was very grateful to all of the guys
