I would recommend Paul very highly. He installed a new shower, toilet and wash hand basin for me extremely efficiently and organised an excellent tiler and plasterer to work alongside him on the project. He was completely reliable, always keeping appointments and very responsive too when it became clear as we approached the colder weather that some of the central heating radiators in what is for me a new home were in need of maintenance. During a kitchen replacement project, I was looking to renew boiler in a new location. Paul met to discuss options in advance and provided fair quotation for the works involved. The works required to be flexible to fit in with kitchen unit removal. Paul was reliable and completed a good quality installation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

We contacted Paul during the Coronavirus lockdown with a request to fit a new bathroom suite. He came to see us as soon as the lockdown rules permitted, when he took note of the suite we would like and any other fixtures. Paul promised to order everything required and would be back in ten days time to do the work. By email the following day we received a full breakdown of what the costs would be.
Paul arrived to do the work as promised. He was very thorough in everything he did and the standard of his workmanship was very high. His tiler was on holiday that week but Paul very happily returned to following week with the tiler to facilitate the full wall behind the toilet and the wash basin being tiled.

Paul replaced my boiler and all the pipes with new ones. It was about a day and a half work but Paul worked tirelessly from 8:30am to 9pm in order to finish it all in one day which was amazing and much appreciated. We found Paul through this website and have been very pleased we did. He refurbished our bathroom, created a new WC and laid new waste water piping for the new kitchen and WC during our whole flat refurbishment.

Paul worked really well with the other trades and kept us informed of developments as he went.

Paul was very punctual, always turning up when he said he would.

We bought our bathroom suite seperately (through bathstore) and there were a couple of issues with the taps (which were subsequently replaced) and Paul dutifully came round to resolve and then replace the offending taps. He even came out the night before he went on holiday after already working a full day because the tap was dripping - which was really appreciated.

He worked really well to our schedule and when we got our building warrant (in advance of expectation) he judgled his calendar and schedule to take on extra work to create the new WC.

Paul is very polite and doesn't leave a mess behind him, which is great as we have tiny humans in the house.

Paul is an extremely knowledgeable, professional tradesman who is proud of his work for good reason. We had to turn a new build bathroom into a mobility bathroom with a walk in shower for my father, where the bath used to be. He did an amazing job. He kept us informed of progress along the way and was fine when we changed our mind on door access for the bathroom (we got a sliding door fitted). We are all very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Paul. I go back to him as he is reliable and the quality of his work is excellent. I have always felt that the price charged is very fair. I contacted him on Monday about a non emergency, he replied promptly and said he would come on Friday, and would email on Thursday night to give me a time, which he did.
He arrived on time, quickly assessed the job and got on with fixing it, while I continued to work. Shoes were off at the front door, and when we asked him to quote for a bathroom refit, it was quickly created. He also provided fixes for another 2 family properties close by, despite this meaning that he would arrive back late to his family home on a Friday night. One of these was heating related, the other plumbing so it really is a huge advantage that he is qualified in both trades.

The finish on his bathrooms is exceptionally high, with an ability to tailor the work in line with the customer budget. His workload comes from word of mouth, which is always a positive sign.
I like the fact that he will not create work, if it is not needed. He will always give you the options, so that it really is a client choice.
Highly recommended - Having a proper, reliable plumber, (who can bring in other recommended trade contacts), removes a whole load of stress.

Paul took out an old electric hot water tank and the feeder tank in a small flat. He replaced it with a small on demand water heater to service a kitchen sink and bathroom wash hand basin. Paul did an excellent job throughout. He replied to emails, texts and calls promptly. Paul was totally reliable. The work was completed quickly and very professionally to a high standard. Paul submitted his estimate very quickly and the final bill matched the original estimate even though Paul had to do one or two additional pieces of work to complete the installation. Paul removed all the old fittings and hoovered the flat and stairs before leaving. He also came back to check that the job was working efficiently. I would strongly recommend Paul.

job was complicated and refused by other plumbers but Mr Harley completed the job with no qualms and with great accuracy. this guy even went out of his way to fix and replace a few bits and pieces while he was there (at his own cost) ,

Had Paul to change 2 radiators and add 3 new ones to my system, he found a fault during this and fixed it with no charge.

This is the first time we have used Paul Harley. He replaced our bathroom suite. The result is a first class job which deserves first class praise.

I have been let down badly by tradesmen in the past for Kitchen Installation, Driveway installation, Car maintenance etc. and so now do everything myself that I can tackle.
I needed a complete boiler installation however and as I am not Gas certified decided to look for a reliable installer. I turned to Which? Trusted Trader and found Paul and am so glad I did. I already had a quote from British Gas to remove a 30 year old condenser boiler and install a new Combi boiler with Hive Heating Controller. They were quite pricey and wanted an additional £1000 to move the boiler to a new location out of the kitchen.
Paul provided a much better quote and that was to also remove the existing Boiler, Hot and Cold water tanks and install the new Worcester Bosch Comb boiler in the attic and brick up the hole in the kitchen left by the old boiler.
I couldn't be any happier with the work. Paul arrived when he said he would and completed all the work to a very high standard and tidied up everything before he left. Paul took 2 days to complete the work but had the hot water running at the end of the first day.
If you need a quality plumber, look no further.

Following a recent disaster with a local plumber I found the name of Paul Harley. Paul, turned up on time and carried out the work I wanted in an exemplary fashion. There was no nonsense of cash in hand and I paid for the job when he finished. I find this an extremely pleasant and uncommon procedure I have found in dealing with tradesmen. I am extremely satisfied with the work he carried out with the added bonus of his punctuality. I cannot praise him enough and would have no hesitation in recommending him.
