The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.

Used GW&JS to replace the small flat roofs over two victorian dormers, replace fascia boards with plastic-faced boards for low maintenance, replace zinc gutters on sides of dormers, and check-over pitched roof section and replace broken/missing slates.
Removing the old flat roofs was a lot more work than thought. The old bitumen was firmly stuck to the roof deck.
Quality of the work was very good. Communications was excellent. Guy phoned me almost every morning for a status update.

Very good service. Came out promptly twice when called. Diagnosed on-going problem ( which other roofers had failed to do) and resolved it. Work was prompt, thorough and left no mess. Would definitely use again.

My first contact with the company was with Jason (director of company) who came to survey my property and I found him to be very professional helpful and friendly.
When Guy ( also director of the company) arrived to carry out the work along with the other guys. They arrived when they stated they would, work started immediately. They were professional, tidy workers clearing up after work finished. I found them all to be very friendly and helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

We had been advised that our roof needed attention from the aerial engineer, so we called GW&JS construction Ltd. Who responded quickly assessed the work required and provided a comprehensive quote. The roofers came and carried out the work, they were great, polite and worked away until the job was completed, we were then shown detailed photos of the work that they carried out .Happy to recommend, as they were recommended to us. Job well done

The estimate for the supply & fitting of a new sun tunnel was fully detailed and provided promptly. As the work had to be programmed to follow other trades on site, we found GW & JS very cooperative and flexible in agreeing a convenient start date. When starting the work it was discovered that to an incorrect component had been delivered. Although this delayed completion, the work was immediately re-scheduled and completed without any inconvenience within a couple of days. The personal involvement on site by Director Guy Wright provided reassurance that the work was executed correctly and to our entire satisfaction. I would have no hesitation in using this firm again or recommending them to others.

Quick to come out and quote for work. Turned up on time. The workmen on site were always very polite and easy to deal with. Very neat and tidy, site was cleared up every evening over the 8 days. Had dry ridge and verge system fitted with old tiles and mortar picked out and removed, house looks far neater and better for it. Sub contractors turned up the day after roof work complete to remove scaffold and skip. Overall very impressed and would recommend.

I had a few slates sorted on the roof, and both of the guys who came were very polite and knowledgeable and didn't waste any time in getting on and getting it done. I have had work done before on a number of occasions and will continue to do so. Trustworthy and honest.
