In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.

I phoned GW&JS Roofing after discovering some issues with my pantile roof. Jason from GW&JS came round quickly and went over the roof thoroughly. He took numerous photos and showed me the areas that required fixing - mainly cracked roof tiles. I decided to go ahead after receiving a very reasonable quote. Within days Jason was back round and all my roof tiles were fixed/replaced. Again, photos were provided (something I consider to be very important given I can't normally validate this sort of work myself). I highly recommend Jason and GW&JS. The quoted price was extremely good and very reasonable. The standard of work is second to none - the pre and post job photos were hugely helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to use Jason again.

Very much my go to people. Have used them for years, at home and business premises. They are efficient, skilful , helpful, prompt, kind and always their work has been of a high standard. Just removed my chimneys and sorted out cracked harling on the shoulders.

The work was done to a high standard and at a very reasonable price. photographs were taken so that I could see exactly what they had done and what potentially could cause a problem in the future so that I could be aware. Very happy with the service.

Recommended to me by neighbour. My roof needed work replacing certain tiles and examining and redoing pointing as necessary.
Work was done properly and quickly. I was impressed by the efficacy of all the work done. I will use this company again if the need arises.

I’ve been using GW & JS Construction Ltd for 10 years now and, as that would suggest, they are an excellent firm of roofers. They are reliable, straightforward and trustworthy. Jason always responds quickly and they does what he says he will unlike most trades nowadays. Their work is always of a high standard and in my opinion their pricing is fair.

Replacement of ridge tiles on our roof with a new dry system. We were very impressed by the quality of the work and professionalism of the team from GW &JS Construction. The work was carried out quickly and with a minimum of fuss. The site was left clean and tidy and we would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending their high quality workmanship. I noticed some watermarks on my ceiling so called GWJS to come inspect my roof and to provide a quotation. Jason arrived on time and after his inspection he noted some minor crack on the chimney which is where he thinks the water is getting into the roof. He applied a sealant to the crack and didn't charge me for it. He also helped me sort out a slipped tile while he was up on the roof. Jason was very friendly and polite. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We contacted Jason following a recommendation and asked him to clean our gutters and paint our fascia. Jason came round himself the next day to assess the job and appeared very professional. He promptly supplied a detailed and clear written quote by email. A week or so later two of his workers came to do the job. They were also polite, friendly and professional and the work was completed quickly and neatly. We then received an invoice and were able to pay conveniently online. Nice to deal with such an efficient and reliable firm - we would use them again in the future.

Very impressed with the service I received from GW &JS Construction Ltd. Had a couple of leaks in roof that required emergency attention, Jason Staines was able to help out of hours and repair and assess damage quickly and efficiently. Quotes were on time and work was done when said. I would highly recommend this company, no job is too big or small.

Jason has done work for me before so I had no hesitation in contacting him when water marks started appearing on my en suite ceiling. On investigation he found the the problem was the extractor tubing which had come away from the outlet and was filling with water. Jason reattached the tubing and secured it to a rafter to avoid a repetition of the problem. He then refused to charge me for the work.

GW & JS Construction carried out some work to overhaul a large area of flat roof on my property. Extra care was needed to maintain the existing insulation and the job was perhaps a bit more tricky than expected for this reason. Despite the job taking slightly longer as a result, it was completed within a reasonable timescale. Overall I was very happy with the quality of workmanship and, in particular, the customer service I received from Jason and Guy who were extremely helpful and kept me fully informed of progress throughout. I would certainly use their services again in the future.
