new lights in my kitchen and broken sockets as before (bathroom lights) I am more than happy at the quality and standard of work carried out,excellent service and so trusted I left my keys and Went to work,so no inconvenience for me.

New Rointe radiators installed to complement work already carried out in November 2022. Exterior lighting upgraded and adjusted.
The installation was completed in 1 day and the rooms involved were left clean and tidy. The personnel involved arrived promptly and completed the work quietly and efficiently. Arrangements had been made to dispose of old heating equipment so no significant rubbish was left on site. At all stages the contractor was available to offer advice and explanations either by phone, email or in person. Recommended.

Reliable, give us a quote and as the work was easier than expected the price was a little lower as well.

I was looking to get interlinked fire alarms fitted in my flat. Paul provided great service. He gave different options for the work done. Was friendly and helpful and did the work to a very high standard. Really happy with the work thank you.

We needed an outside light replaced after a previous electrician from another company failed to install it correctly and the junction box filled with water.
Electrician turned up within the time slot promised, carried out the work as requested and left us with a working light.
One hopes that this has been done correctly this time: time will tell. But in the meantime I would happy to use EWE for future work.

Summary: Overall I am happy with the rewiring work East West Electrical did, and found Paul to be friendly and helpful. I think that communication could have been better, and that more effort could have been made to ensure the property left in a reasonably tidy condition.

The price I was quoted was on par with other quotes I got. Ultimately I decided to go with these guys because they gave me the most confidence during their initial visit to my property. They took time to understand what it is I wanted and explained everything to me clearly. I would have given a higher rating had I received a bit more communication about the work itself, once we agreed to go ahead with it together. I was not told the date that work would begin, and turned up at my flat one day after work to find that it had - without me having had the opportunity to move my personal items first. This was a bit frustrating as my items were delicate. There were a number of days where I expected them to be in the property but no work took place, and it wasn't made clear to me why that was. Once work had finished, the hallway carpet (which had been pulled up to allow access) was not put back. It took me a while to find where the carpet had been put, eventually I found it on top of a wardrobe in a bedroom. Also, rubbish was left in the flat for me to remove, which was unexpected as other tradesmen I have worked with have taken rubbish out with them.

That being said, when I wanted something amended, it was done with no hesitation. They were also very willing to put in extra effort to ensure my kitchen floor wasn't damaged, which I am grateful for. I am happy with the quality of the electrical work and trust they did a good job despite my complaints.

Fixing bathroom ceiling recessed lighting. Service from Paul was excellent. Arrived when he said he would, did an excellent job and was also helpful with an unrelated problem. Pleasant and efficient.

Paul has done work for me on several occasions and has always provided total satisfaction. On the most recent occasion I phoned him in the morning, he arrived by lunchtime and did the work right away. Excellent service from a thoroughly likeable man.

Paul and a colleague carried out some rewiring in our old 1930s semi. Our expectations were set that this would potentially be pretty messy.
The job was pretty challenging, but the guys dug in and did the necessary with the minimum of mess. Upgraded fuse box and changed various sockets too.

I'd have no hesitation in using East West in future or recommending them.

Our shower room fan had stopped working and I contacted East West for a quote to repair. They responded very quickly and provided a quote should the fan be repairable and also one should it need replaced, offering me a choice of fans.
Electrician arrived on time and fitted a new fan as agreed. Very friendly and satisfactory service.

I had new 3 smoke alarms plus a heat alarm fitted (all linked), a new washing machine switch, external lights and a new internal double socket installed. I can't fault the work or service. Paul came when he said he would, was courteous and helpful in suggesting solutions to my requirements, and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely use his company again, and I am happy to recommend it to anyone.

bathroom ceiling lights and I'm more than happy...previous lights inappropriate for a bathroom...too dark...now I feel like I have a new make over just by Paul replacing with flush spots.very tidy low maintenance to plaster over where cables had to run...Will definitely ask Paul again for any electrical problems I have in fact already am planning same form my kitchen...last words very tidy trustworthy and punctual.
