Great experience from start to finish. Previous ratings for 'Comfortzone' were 5 star and they did not disappoint. We had our two bedroom flat updated: new boiler, radiators, hob, wallpaper stripped, plastered where needed, painted, decorated, floors and walls tiled in kitchen & bathroom, sink and shower screen replaced, joinery repair work of kitchen cupboards, electrical work etc etc. Gary produced a clear plan of work with time schedule and costings. Not being based in Edinburgh we felt comfortable leaving keys with them to carry out all the work whilst getting weekly WhatsApp updates on progress made. Gary and his team were also happy to be around for carpet fitters to come in which saved us having to travel to Edinburgh. The flat was presented in move-in condition. We can honestly recommend 'Comfortzone' and would not hesitate to use them again.

Gary and John renovated our flat including two new bathrooms, a new kitchen and utility room, with new central heating, electrics and flooring throughout. All work was completed to a high standard within the agreed timeframe. Communication throughout was excellent. They were professional and friendly, which made the process stress free. Gary and John have recently completed a single storey extension to our home. They communicated clearly throughout, were very mindful of our budget, and planned the logistics so that there was minimal mess and disruption to us. We used Comfortzone to rip out our old bathroom and fully install a new one. The service is friendly & professional and the workmanship is second to none. Excellent attention to detail, the bathroom is perfect. I would highly recommend Comfortzone and will definitely use them again in the future.

Central heating upgrade, old shower room removed and new one installed, relevant tradesmen ie. joiner, electrician and tiler (provided by comfortzone) all arrived on site when required, all plumbing works carried out by comfortzone, creation of a utility area from a cupboard space freeing new storage potential in main kitchen. All works carried out to the exacting standards set by Gary Roy (comfortzone) I would certainly recommend him to anyone having used his company on several occasions in the past 25 years

Gary is a trusted trader by name and with his approach and actions. From his first meeting conversation with me and all through the project he was honest and 100% reliable.
He renovated my two bed Victorian flat. Involving installing gas central heating throughout, removing the old hot water and cold water tanks, renewing electrical works and fitting a new fuse board, installing a brand new shower room and toilet, lowering two ceilings to hide ugly piping boxes, renewing all waste pipes, drainage and hot and cold water supplies to the kitchen and shower room. Unfortunately some wood worm was found in the flooring and joists and floor boards had to be cut out and replaced. Additional costs above the original quote were openly discussed with me and agreed in advance. There was nothing hidden and no surprises.
All work was first class, including that of the joiner and electrician that works with him.

Gary came out at short noticed and offered an emergency repair for our boiler. He was straight forward and easy to deal with. Would recommend.

Gary and his electrician replaced my night store heaters with new German style electric heaters and ensured all the necessary changes were made to sockets and the electric meter. The work was undertaken very professionally.

Gary came out to see the job, gave great advice on the best heaters etc and undertook the work when he said he would to a very high standard. I would certainly use Gary again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

What a fantastic job Gary has done. Old back boiler gas fire and old tanks removed, new Combi boiler installed with new piping, radiator moved to the centre of the wall and some old electrics fixed and upgraded. Plastered up the wall where the fire was and left the place spotlessly clean. Highly recommend these guys

Large domestic extension undertaken by Gary Roy ('Comfortzone') including garage, workshop, en-suite bathroom, garden room, cellar and associated structures.I Mr Roy has been the best contractor with whom I've worked, by far. He has excellent knowledge of a variety of trades and has allowed me to work closely with him in all areas of the project. He is very friendly and approachable and as been very accommodating with consistent excellent communication from day one. He has been present on site regularly overseeing the work as it has progressed with a thorough eye for detail and genuine desire to fulfill all of my requests. I cannot find fault in any of the work undertaken and would have no hesitation recommending him for other potential clients.

We first worked with comfort zone when we were having an extension put on our house. Gary was fantastic and offered suggestions as to how we could improve light, insulation and better ways to utilise the space. He worked as project manager for the entire project and ensured everything ran smoothly and any problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Giving us lots of reassurance.
