Repairs to chimney stack and roof, to prevent further water ingress and staining indoors.
This is a busy company but they set aside extra time to have the work finished for us on time.
All people involved were very professional and competent.

Boltons has carried out 2 large projects for me in Edinburgh.
1 at my home and another at one of my rental properties. Both of them large roofing projects.
The company’s materials and standard of workmanship are very high, while Linda in the office offers excellent administration and feedback.

THIS WAS A REROOFING AND RECOVERING OF OUR GARDEN SHED. THE WORK WAS DONE SWIFTLY, CAREFULLY, AND TO A HIGH STANDARD. THE OLD ROOF TIMBERS AND FELT WERE REMOVED AS CONTRACTED AND THE SITE WAS LEFT TIDY. AN EXTREMELY WELL DONE PIECE OF WORK CARRIED OUT SWIFTLY, PROFESSIONALLY AND WITH GREAT COURTESY FROM BEGINNING TO END.

"We had a small leak, some tiles that needed replacing, and a new skylight window to install. Bolton Roofing was excellent from start to finish. Linda came out to survey the work at a time that suited me, and they provided a very competitive quote promptly. The work was arranged quickly (despite delays on my end) and carried out professionally to an excellent standard. I would definitely recommend Linda and her team at Bolton Roofing. Replaced the roofs and fascias of three dormer windows, having previously replaced the rhones on our house. Robin and his team really understand how roofs work and their work is done to a high standard. From what we discovered when the old dormer roofs were removed, it's obvious that roofers sometimes cut corners: with Bolton Roofing I feel confident that everything is done as it should be.

We had Bolton Roofing install new gutters on the front of our tenement building, as well as replace the cement skews on the front and back, and carry out some other slating and re-pointing work. They were professional and courteous throughout, and very accommodating with carrying out site visits and answering questions from myself and the other owners in the building. I would recommend Bolton Roofing to anyone requiring this type of work, because of the thoroughness and quality of the work, as well as the speed and helpfulness of their customer service.

I had a roof repair thoroughly done, after a previous roofer had charged a serious amount of money for carrying out an ineffectual repair.
Boltons were thorough both in the identification of the problem and in the effective solution.
The roofers carrying out the job, could not have been better both in terms of quality and efficiency in actually doing the job but also in helpfulness and taking a pride in leaving the work area clean and tidy once they were finished. This company will now be my “go to” roofing firm.

We have had a repair carried out in our tenement building, water was dripping down from the ceiling on the ground floor passage leading out to the main door, it was quite a tricky job trying to find the source of the leak and Bolton Roofing were here on several occasions but they found out what the problem was and carried out the repair at a very reasonable cost, we have used them in the past for roof repairs and have always found their work very satisfactory, reasonably priced and being reliable they would always be our first choice.

The most professional Trader I've used, I would happily use them again.
I needed work done to identify and resolve a problem resulting in some damp above my front door.
Bolton were clear and accurate on all timescales (when assessment would be done, how long quote would take to prepare, when to expect the work being done, how long it would take to complete).
The areas needing work were clearly explained and shown to me before and after, and documented with images in the quote/invoice.

Excellent service and customer support. The roofers were lovely, professional and experienced. Although the work was delayed to start post Covid, it was worth waiting for. Linda was amazing project manager, she is easy to communicate with hand handled my queries and my neighbor’s queries swiftly and professionally. I appreciated the careful planning of the works and the explanations why certain works cannot be done in this way but in another. I am not a roofer, clearly, but Henry sat down with me going over pictures and explaining the steps. When the works started he even came again to instruct the workers and point out special characteristics of the roof.
Estimate and the final bill remained the same, no bad surprises!
