We had cast iron bespoke gutters replaced, slate work overhauled and verge and stonework repointing.
From the quoting process all the way through, Bolton roofing were thorough and professional.
The team on the property worked tirelessly, and were extremely polite and pleasant to deal with. The two sets of gutter replacements look great, as does the stonework, and we trust the replacements will now avoid further additional water ingress damaging the stonework further.
Thanks to Linda and colleagues also for taking the time to physically attend the property in person on a number of occasions to explain when we had any questions, concerns or queries.
We are glad we went with Bolton Roofing and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

The work was the replacement of the roof felting on a large and complicated part of the roof of our house. It also involved dismantling of some roof tiles and gutters and replacement.
The job was carried out very professionally and with great care by the team from Bolton!

Perhaps not the quickest but very pleased with the work carried out and their wish to do a quality job for us. Clear communication on estimates, costs and invoicing and did not chase for payment until the job was successfully completed, overall we were very pleased.

I had roof leaking around my Sky light of my roof for over two and half years. A previous roofer attempted to repair my roof twice before I found Balton roofing Ltd, but he was failed twice.
The roofers from Balton are very professional, friendly, and completely dedicated to their work. They came few times to my property. They lifted up the area of the leaking roof to investigate the problem first, then they repaired my roof step by step carefully. There has been no water leaking happened since Balton repaired for us 4 months ago. Linda is a great project manager. She gave us a very useful advice to start with to lead this work successful. My nightmare is over! Balton’s work is very high quality and standard. They did a great job! Highly recommended.

Bolton's carried out essential maintenance to our roof including repair of stonework on chimneys. Their service is first rate and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They were extremely thorough and efficient at all times.

I was recommended Bolton Roofing by a friend in the building trade and they were excellent. Ahead of the works, the communication and ongoing dialogue was just right. The team worked super hard to help me hit a deadline for completion and the end result is really stunning.

Complete re-slate of edinburgh town house, fitting reclaimed scotch slates, with repairs to chimneys and some leadwork.
They included and arranged scaffolding through another company, who were efficient and careful.
Not the cheapest quote for the work, but extremely reasonable, and coped well with a late season job (weather permitting).
Friendly, flexible, professional and trustworthy. What more could anyone ask for!

THIS WAS A REROOFING AND RECOVERING OF OUR GARDEN SHED. THE WORK WAS DONE SWIFTLY, CAREFULLY, AND TO A HIGH STANDARD. THE OLD ROOF TIMBERS AND FELT WERE REMOVED AS CONTRACTED AND THE SITE WAS LEFT TIDY. Excellent service and customer support. The roofers were lovely, professional and experienced. Although the work was delayed to start post Covid, it was worth waiting for. Linda was amazing project manager, she is easy to communicate with hand handled my queries and my neighbor’s queries swiftly and professionally. Bolton identified a down pipe blockage in a mutual stack shared by two tenements, removed high level blockage and repainted the pipe.

We have had a repair carried out in our tenement building, water was dripping down from the ceiling on the ground floor passage leading out to the main door, it was quite a tricky job trying to find the source of the leak and Bolton Roofing were here on several occasions but they found out what the problem was and carried out the repair at a very reasonable cost, we have used them in the past for roof repairs and have always found their work very satisfactory, reasonably priced and being reliable they would always be our first choice.
