I appreciated the careful planning of the works and the explanations why certain works cannot be done in this way but in another. I am not a roofer, clearly, but Henry sat down with me going over pictures and explaining the steps. When the works started he even came again to instruct the workers and point out special characteristics of the roof.
Estimate and the final bill remained the same, no bad surprises!

I had to have a roof survey done at short notice. Bolton Roofing did this promptly and produced a report the same day as the survey - Excellent customer service.

I contacted Bolton Roofing after high winds caused damage to the roof of my home. The service I received was excellent starting from the professionalism of the staff member I spoke to on the phone, the identification of the work involved and work undertaken. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family and use them again if needed.

As a hotel manager (retired) I reckon that Bolton Contractors be among the best run business in Edinburgh.

Annual check, tiles replaced, gutters cleared and work on skew.
Would not hesitate to recommend this trader - they're reliable, professional and do a really good job. I've also found them to be extremely adept in diagnosing and sorting out roof problems.

Bolton roofing fixed the root cause of a drip that was coming through my kitchen extractor fan when it rained and there was a prevailing wind. They were brilliant from quote to finish and advised me on all my options. They fixed the problem with the fan vent in roof- it had the wrong type of cap on it and sorted out the surrounding tiles too. Robin is brilliant to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending Bolton to others/booking them again if I need another roof job done. Fantastic! My extractor fan is now drip free- thanks Bolton!

Plastic guttering replaced with ogee cast iron, and new cast iron downpipe. There were some unforeseen problems, but Mr Bolton knew exactly what to do, and the work was carried out to the usual high quality. All the staff are friendly and willing to discuss what is being done and why.
