We have used A1 Joinery & Building for a variety of work over several years. This has mostly been repair work to residential dwellings in connection with insurance claims, where the timing of work and the sensitivity of working around clients who are often still in residence, is extremely important. A1 have always provided a reliable service and we are very pleased to have continuing relationship with a company whose work compliments the service we provide to our clients.

I have had 2 bathrooms totally refurbished. I had my hall replastered and decorated over 3 storeys. I had an external spiral staircase ordered and installed. I have had a number of smaller jobs completed.

The tradesmen who were sent were very hard working and thorough. Max who oversaw most of the work was always available to answer questions and paid great attention to detail regarding out requirements. He made sure we got what we wanted and the work was done to a very high standard. He was good at finding solutions to get things as we wished.

I was always confident that corners were not being cut and I felt that the price was very reasonable.

I have been using A1 joinery services now for over 10 years and have found their workmanship to be outstanding. Their work is meticulous, they are reliable and their attention to detail is the best I have come across. They are always trustworthy, honest and reliable and of excellent character. They have painted, built extensions, built outside stone walls, laid wooden floors and stone floors, electrical work, plumbing work and outside garden stonework and fencing. There really is nothing they can't do and to the most amazing standard. They also redid all my locks and doors when I had a house break in. All work done to the very highest standard and with discretion. I would not hesitate in recommending them.
