Jakub is an excellent tradesperson, not only a registered gas safe engineer but a talented carpenter and builder. He recently helped me renovate a property that was left in a bad state by a tenant. This included new timber decking, laminate flooring, kitchen units, worktop, extractor and plumbing, new shower and screen, new boiler housing cupboard and more! Excellent craftsmanship and totally reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

Our gas was cut off by SGN, following detection of 2 gas leaks, in our boiler and gas fire. It was a freezing February evening. Jakub at 123-Gas was excellent in every way. A super prompt response to our phone call. Jakub swiftly located the problems and resolved them, talking me through his findings and what was required to fix the appliances. Quickly, the gas was back on and hot water and heating restored. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Replacing old hot water tank with new unvented hot water cylinder with some other pipe works needed to be done.
Excellent job done and great service provided from the beginning until the end.
Jakub is an expert and clearly knows what he is doing. The reason why we preferred/ chose to go ahead with 123Gas was because of Jakub’s attitude where he was coming with ideas and solutions how we can do it ( moving washing machine to the cupboard where is hot water tank) instead of saying no that’s not possible.
I would definitely recommend 123Gas services for their excellent service, precise work and great attitude/ thinking.

We had the misfortune that the gas valve`s emissions of our Worcester boiler were diagnosed as too high, and the boiler had to be replaced. The question of the gas valve repair was answered by two renowned Edinburgh companies as possible, but not economical. Their boiler replacement quotes were vastly different and expensive.
Fortunately, another Google search resulted in 123 Gas (Gas Safe certified). `
Jakub answered at 4:15 pm on a Friday and promised to have a look that evening. He arrived at 8:20 pm (!! ) and managed to reset and adjust the valve by fine-tuning it and finished by 9:15. Incredible!!
We can only praise him, his work attitude and his professionalism, unfortunately, elsewhere hardly to be found any longer - it seems.

Jakob serviced my boiler today and helped sort problem I had with using control panel to activate central heating system/ control it I a way I can easily understand.

It's great to have lovely helpful reliable gas engineer to call on when things go wrong and get helpful sensible advice.

Also nice to receive gentle helpful reminders to remember to book him in for annual boiler service and get efficient paper record if boiler service for home insurance purposes.

Gas central heating was not firing, but hot water from the same boiler was functioning normally. We spoke by email and over the phone about the symptoms and the engineer thought it was very likely a zone valve that needed replaced. They were able to pop in the next day with the part and took about 30 min to check, fit, and confirm repair. Excellent, honest, speedy service.
