Good experience right from the start. Jamie Shearer listened to us and worked on the plan for renovations at every stage, kept to the pre-arranged dates and finished ahead of time. Excellent work force, willing and thoughtful, on all trades used - roofing, painting and electrical. No mess left behind. Quick response to all queries, all small problems resolved immediately. Excellent communications throughout - from estimate to completed job. It all felt organised and under control.

Repair to roof at chimney stack, replaced joists and lead etc. We had a bad leak from roof which came into bedroom above bed when it rained. My dad has dementia so the job had to be done correctly as it was above his bed. The guys who came out were very professional and understanding, gave me my free quote for work to be done. After discussing the job through the office it was arranged and as soon as they could they came out. Very smart and professional. They did the job and I have had no problems since. It's not often I can say job done when it was supposed to be done and at a fair price too, all done to high standards of health and safety, with a guarantee in hand. Thank you.

I had replacement gutters in a tricky position (over a long conservatory) requiring scaffolding. All work was carried out when promised, and to satisfaction, and I was informed promptly of any delay (e.g due to bad weather)
I also had some low level rendering work completed at more or less the same time. A previous trader had let me down and Shearers were the complete opposite - prompt, good, clean work, left no mess, good quality work to completion.
They also followed up after completion to make sure I was happy. There was one small breakage (tile) which was repaired / replaced without quibble.
They are not the cheapest but I will certainly use them again for their reliability, professionalism, attention to detail and good quality workmanship.
