The team at shearer were great. They gave us a very professional assessment of the damage using an expert and drone. They provided pictures identifying exactly what needed to be repaired and why.

It took a while to get the work started due to how busy they the team were but they tried to prioritise us as we were letting in water which was helpful. The team they sent were experienced, friendly and skilled at what they do. They worked quickly and professionally at all times. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to have their roof fixed or velox windows replaced.

Repairs were carried out to roof tiles and guttering. Communication was excellent.

Realignment of gutters and repair to flat roof.
From initial enquiry, through to trades completing the work, all staff were easy to deal with and kept me updated at all times.
Work was completed on time and although slightly more expensive than some other quotes received, I wanted peace of mind that my roof had been repaired by a reputable and professional firm.
Will use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

We were very pleased with the work done. Staff were very polite and efficient and explained what they were doing. We had some additional work done and the company were very accommodating at getting this added to work being done, so there was no delay.

Great standard of work

Shearers replaced our garage roof which was over 100 years old with new slate. This was carried out cheerfully, competently, quickly, cleanly and with a great deal of efficiency. We are very pleased with the result. There was a minor problem subsequently which they came and fixed immediately.

Re- roofing of front and back slopes on my 1946 semi detached house.
Although I had to wait two/three months for a construction slot, I felt that a company with a healthy order book must have earned a justifiable reputation.
My experience from day one, when I spoke with the office staff, was one of complete confidence by their efficient and polite manner.
Following a roof inspection they discussed fully the new specification for my agreement prior to commencement.
Works on site took just over one week and was supervised daily by their Contracts Manager who met with me to discuss progress.
A very good experience plus guarantees on work and materials.

I'd recommend J Shearer Roofing for the excellent communication from arranging an inspection to scheduling the work, with a follow-up call to check all's well with the job. We've used them a couple of times now, and have been satisfied with the work carried out on both occasions, and would seek a quote from them for further work again.

Renew two skylights in the roof.

The workers were polite, considerate and knowledgeable of the work in hand.
They kept me informed at every stage and when finished you would have known they had been.

Roofing MOT. Some broken tiles replaced , moss removed , some lead work replaced , gutters cleared and chimney mastic renewed.
Reliable and attentive , did what they said they would. When we had an issue with the project we wanted resolved they attended promptly and fixed the problem quickly.

Reroofing of our house. We were delighted with all aspects of the work completed. Everything that they said would be done was in fact completed. The quality of the workmanship and constant supervision and office contact was excellent.
