Review a trader

In our shower room the wet room floor previously installed by another fitter had failed.
Victor filled us with great confidence from the moment he came to assess the job, we felt that the strip out and refurb would be properly done.
And indeed it was - not only does the shower room look better than before, we know everything underneath is properly done too, just what we hoped for.

I contacted Gordon Cooley and was given an appointment to have the damage assessed. Very promptly got a quote for repair, which was acceptable. I booked my car for the following week for repair. The work was carried out to my satisfaction and I was kept informed of the progress by the admin staff.

Very impressed by Derek at DW Plumbing. Sourced and Replaced an electric shower for us within 24 hours. Highly professional work, removed old unit, prepared site for new unit and cleared up after fitting. Very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend for first contact for all plumbing and heating work. Very competent and efficient service. The repair was completed in the stated time. The work was done to a very high standard and my car was delivered to my home which was appreciated.

I was very impressed with the overall service provided by J. Shearer. They dont see any job as too small, dont invent repairs nor do they say your roof is is a terrible state and requires everything replaced. Surveyers are very knowledgeable, guys that did my job worked flat out and also manged to so a couple of other repairs tthey spotted. They use a drone fitted with a camera and provide you with pics of before/after repair. I could see clearly broken and misplaced tiles, gutter blockages etc.,
All staff I came in contact were polite and informative, nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend J. Shearer to anybody that needs repairs on their Roof.

This is the second time Philip has done work for us, previously it was an upstairs bathroom When we decided to update our downstairs toilet, we didn’t hesitate to contact Philip. In actual fact we didn’t look at anyone else. Philip’s work, communication and service is second to none.

Contacted J Shearer to get some urgent roofing changes due to moving a boiler. They responded very quickly, gave a good estimate and undertook the work exactly when they said. All organised and job completed within a week.

Absolutely delighted with Bee Builders. Got them in to repair/treatment of wet rot joists under the house and install a new kitchen (incl removing the old one). Victor, Dmitri and the team were brilliant start to finish, so impressed. On time, exactly as quoted, excellent quality of work, kept things really tidy during the job and made a number of really helpful kitchen suggestions mid-job, which were so pleased they did. Lovely guys too and won't hesitate getting them in when we replace the bathroom. Thanks guys

J. Shearer were really easy to deal with, and very communicative throughout. Our problem was on a tenement roof in the city centre, requiring quite a lot of scaffolding. The surveyor was prompt and efficient, and explained the situation very clearly. The job was organised and completed quickly, and the repair seems to have been successful - time, of course, will tell! The price seems fair, considering the scaffolding cost, and I would have no hesitation is using the company again.
