Review a trader

Slow leak fixed in downstairs bathroom. Tricky problem in an awkward situation, but Derrick did a great and speedy job - explored all options, replaced parts as needed, full of great advice for me going fowards - I absolutely would call DW plumbing again first for any other work!

First class service would highly recommend. Called Thursday morning and David was at my property that night as promised to fix my front door lock. Problem looked much worse initially however, after assessing it and taking the locking mechanism away, the repair only cost half the price initially thought. This was refreshing to know that David only actually charged for what was required rather than just charging the original quote. Great customer service and will be using David again.

Derek fitted a new combi boiler for us, replacing an older direct hot water system. The work was done over a day and a half and has made a tremendous improvement to our heating and hot water. A complex system of lots of different parts has now been replaced with a much simpler boiler. Showers are more powerful and we are no longer paying needlessly to keep hot a large tank of water. Derek did an excellent tidy job and we have ended up with a really neat and simple system. We are very pleased.

David and arrived as he said he would ( late in evening for emergency call out)
He was friendly, respectful of house, very professional and polite.
He sorted our stuck open window in 10 mins or under.
On way out of home he even fixed our front door that had been catching!

Problem: Locking mechanism into 20year old door.
Tradesman was a gentleman and was courtious throughout. After explaining he could try to fix the mechanism if all parts were in working order he discovered some components were broken. Alternative was to replace with new locking mechanism. PO was placed before departing from our address.
Within 24hours tradesman telephoned to confirm new mechanism was available to be fitted. I welcomed tradesman next morning and within 20minutes the 20year old door operated as if new. 1st class tradesman worth consideration for all who find mechanical problems on doors/windows.

Patio door wouldn’t lock.
Found Barrhead lock and door online and sent a message and they were very quick at responding.

The repair was completed in under an hour, very cost effective, very friendly service, went the extra mile explaining some other issues with the door.
