I’ve just had a hot outside tap fitted by Lewis what a first class job he done very neat and tidy plumbing work under the sink no mess and even replaced the old leaking outside cold tap .would highly recommend TKS plumbing .professional first class service

Have used Lewis to carry out my boiler service and all plumbing repairs over several years. This time the heating system needed a clean out and to get to the bottom of a noisy hot water tank. Lewis completed all the work in a timely manner and has stopped the noise.

Tom replaced a broken electric shower in my Mother’s flat. He did a first class job and Mum was extremely happy with the job. He was pleasant to deal with and turned up bang on time on his 2 visits to carry out the job. I would certainly use him again and would happily recommend this business.

Lewis fitted a new gas boiler about 10 years ago. This has been serviced by him every year since. Last service was November 2025.

Just wanted to say how happy we are with our new bathroom and en-suite. Both were completely ripped out and refitted, along with full walls and floors in micro cement.
We could not be happier with how they have turned out and all thanks to Lewis. Lewis project managed and organised it all so all the trades needed worked seamlessly together.

Excellent work carried out by Lewis recently and done to a high standard. We are very happy with the improvements. The mouldy silicon around or bath was removed and replaced; and a new shower screen was fitted. The bathroom looks like new. Also a hall radiator that we had was refitted. STORY TIME! Since the middle of June I was left with barely a floor in my bathroom and a shell of a room with only access (via a board placed on a beam) to a toilet. Unfortunately my Mum and I put our trust in the wrong people. Being two females running two separate homes alone we felt completely violated and lost. My son and I couldn’t shower in our own home, had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in my kitchen. Since the middle of June….we simply couldn’t just “jump in the shower”…we were let down. My mum reached out to TKS Plumbing Services Ltd and explained our position and not only that the emotional impact of the whole experience had on us. You certainly don’t realise what a bathroom is to a home!!! They have been nothing short of exceptional. Despite openly being booked up with jobs, they made time for us and a promise to see and guide us right. And they did. They restored our faith in the trades, put up with tears (well mine!) and never once made us feel silly or “it’s just a bathroom”….so today, this Friday…I can finally shower at home!! Now I just need to decide on the paint colour….! So thank you TKS Plumbing Services Ltd I can finally fake tan and shower it off in the morning at home and my son doesn’t have to brush his teeth whilst I was attempting to do the dishes.

Lewis and Tom were fantastic. They noticed our bath is not level and is the reason for our constant leaks which other plumbers haven't picked up on before so we are really grateful to have an answer. They fitted a new shower screen and did follow up repairs to try and prevent further leakage. Because of the additional work and the fact there is no guarantee of no further leaks they also knocked off £150 from our final invoice. We will definitely be using them in the future. Lewis assessed our boiler problems quickly and came back to us with a quote for a new boiler plus some other options for solving our trouble. We both agreed a new boiler was needed which he fitted within a few days. Couldn’t speak more highly of the service and the work done!

I’ve used TKS for many years now. On this occasion the immersion in my hot water tank had failed. Lewis quickly diagnosed the issue and had a replacement part within the week. Fitting was swift and efficient. I’d always recommend Tom and Lewis as they are friendly, reliable and very trustworthy.

Tom recently completed work that involved replacing pipework between interior and drainpipe, including installing new cast iron sections. There was a lot of unpredictability about the scope of the works because the issue was within the wall cavity. Tom worked patiently with me to plan for the day and came prepared for any eventuality. His standard of work and attention to detail were excellent.
Communication was very good: Tom advised me in advance of the potential scenarios we might be faced with. This meant I was ready on the day to make decisions with him quickly and efficiently as the scope of the job unfolded.
We are delighted with the work that Tom has done for us and have already requested a booking for further work in the near future.

TKS Plumbing Services have carried out a number of pieces of work for me over the last few years. They are extremely professional, knowledgable, reliable and friendly, and the work is finished promptly, to an extremely high standard. TKS Plumbing replaced our en suite shower and replaced tiles and reset our bath in the family bathroom solving leaks in both cases. I really appreciated that Tom came up with proportionate and cost effective solutions. He also coordinated the work to make it as efficient as possible (in terms of time and cost). Over a few years, Tom Knight & Son have carried out a few jobs for me and I have been exceptionally pleased with all of them. Work done on the date booked and when finished you would never have known that work had been carried out.

Have used Tom Knight & Son for 6 years now: first a major house move involving full bathroom install, electrical works, removal of partition cupboard and water tank in attic etc. Was excellent service and value then and now. Lewis still comes round to do annual boiler check and tests, as well as any general building/maintenance jobs eg replace garage guttering and possible extensions. Lewis is very reliable, courteous and professional. An honest, trust-worthy guy and a quality, reputable firm.

I recently had a new set of radiators installed and a full kitchen renovation completed by Lewis, and I couldn't be more impressed! Lewis did annual service on gas boiler recently. There was a problem with having to prime boiler more often than usual, he put fluid sealant in the system which has fixed things.

Based on our first experience, this is a great company. We needed a partial refurbishment of our bathroom - Lewis arrived when he said he would to discuss the job, and then provided a quote within a few days. Due to the company being very busy we had to wait a couple of months for the work to be done, however they turned up on time, completed everything within the 3 days we had agreed, and they stuck to the price quoted Lewis and the team have done a fantastic job and we would certainly use them again.

I have used Tom Knight & Son several times, for an emergency call out due to a leaking pipe, to have a new tap installed, to have a new boiler fitted, and to have the boiler serviced a year later. Every time, the work done has been to a high standard, done when expected, and the price was reasonable. I have recommended this company to others many times, they are friendly, helpful and reliable. The quality of their work shows in the fact they are always really busy, but they have still always fitted me in quickly when things have broken and need to be sorted urgently.

My heating stopped working at 9.45pm last night , and I have two children below the age of 3, so the heating is essential through the night. I had phoned Lewis who very kindly helped me sort this and identify the issue so I could get the heating on until the morning.

Top work from Tom Knight & Son. We recently moved into a new house to find that the boiler was not operational. Lewis came out straight away and found the issue almost immediately. He went above and beyond to get the fix completed as quickly as possible. Trustworthy and efficient as always.

I asked Tom Knight and Son if they could design a system that would allow me to shut of the plumbing in the garage when we had heavy frost to prevent burst pipes. Because I didn’t follow his instructions fully the inevitable happened. Lewis was quick to react and fix the burst and absolutely refused payment even though it was my error. I have also used Tom Knight and Son for replacing a pop up plug system and drilling and fixing bathroom mirrors. Lewis Knight is a quality tradesman who is punctual, polite and very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. I have just booked my annual boiler service with this Company after getting rid of British gas after 2 failed to attend appointments. Thank you Lewis.

I had an old radiator that I wanted replaced with a new vertical radiator and moved to another position in the room. The move was done to a very high standard, the radiator has been fitted perfectly, and they left no sign of having been in the room. Everything was left in immaculate condition.
Couldn’t be happier with the work and will certainly be using them again in the future.

I can't speak highly enough of Tom Knight and Son. They are reliable, trustworthy and fare. I have used them on my client projects over recent years for kitchen and bathroom supply and fit as well as flooring and bespoke joinery. We moved into a new build 9 months again but heard lots of residents had problems with their boiler so we asked Lewis to come and check it over for us which he did and reassured us that the boiler was fitted and working satisfactory. Would always recommend Tom Knight & son for all plumbing work.

I was quite anxious, to call a heating engineer out, due to some bad experiences with tradesmen in the past but when Lewis arrived at my home to see why my boiler was leaking, he made me feel at ease, just could tell he was genuine/trustworthy.

My instincts were correct as hes done a great job fixing my old boiler, had to order few parts but kept me informed of pricing, when should or did arrive, he also explained why the certain parts were needed, showing me my broken parts to why they had stop working through time.

Lewis also looked on last visit, to another leak I found day b4 Under my kitchen sink unit, i thought maybe come from my loose tap!.
He discovered more leaks too, so I've booked him to fix this but very kindly out of the goodness of his heart, fixed my loose tap for me then & there not charging extra for this.

One of our radiators wasn't heating up and after doing some tests ourselves we needed some professional help. We reached out via Trusted Trader and Lewis was quick to respond and able to fit us in. The fix itself didn't take long but needed Lewis' expertise and tools, he explained the issue and was helpful. I would definitely call TKS again!

We had some lead piping replaced which involved landscaping work in the garden. Tom and Lewis were punctual, reliable and got the work completed quickly. Liaising with Scottish Water involved delays, but they were great even when they had to wait around for SW. We would definitely use Tom Knight and Son again.

I contacted Tom on Monday morning about a problem with the boiler, which had left us with no heating and hot water over the weekend. Lewis came out at lunchtime the same day and not only fixed the problem, he showed me what to do if it happened again. At the same time he told me not to hesitate to call him if necessary. Once again, they have shown that they go the extra mile!
Tom and Lewis have carried out a range of work for us over the last 5 years. Each time, it has been first class and the standard of customer care is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Lewis and Tom carried out a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and careful attention to detail. We were provided with a clear plan of what would be done with time scales so we knew exactly what to expect. All in all a very efficient and professional operation. I had a quote from Tom for replacing a shower screen and tray, the work also requiring the removal and replacement of floor and wall tiles. Having accepted the quote, I had to wait some time for the work to be done. It was well worth the wait. It was very clear that Tom takes an old-fashioned pride in his work and the workmanship across three trades (plumbing and subcontracted joinery and tiling) was to the very highest standard. The work was completed to schedule, communication was excellent and the work area could not have been left any cleaner. Highly recommended on every count.

I contacted Lewis over a weekend to ask about rehanging a hall radiator as the radiator was coming off the wall. Lewis got back to me so fast & fitted us in on the Tuesday. Had a number of jobs done by Lewis, from boiler service and repairs, outside taps fitted and radiators fitted. Always on time, reliable and communication is great throughout. Wouldn’t use anyone else!

Our toilet stopped working and we could not see how to fix it. I phoned Mr Knight and his son arrived the next day. He fixed it quickly and checked it all over. It’s working well, very good service.
