Mark has done exellent work, on several occasions coming out at short notice to tidy up, cut grass, tame an unruly Hawthorne hedge. I can't praise him highly enough. A good worker and a nice bloke.

Mark put down two tons of lawn dressing, levelled the ground and laid grass seed.
We found Mark's work to be excellent, well priced and professional.
Mark himself is friendly and is happy to give advice.
He has cleared and rotavated the garden for us prior to this latest work he has done and we will be contacting him again for further work.

Mark carried out some landscaping, in my front garden. Removal of existing grass , preparation, laying chips and fitting concrete decorative edgings. Then spreading grass seed to fill in bare areas on the existing grass areas.
All works carried out to the highest level, Mark is friendly, polite and on time every time. Nothing is too much trouble. I found Mark great for ideas and general advice, I will be hiring Mark later in the year to carry out further changes to the remaining garden. I would without hesitation recommend Muddy Boots garden/fencing services to everyone!. Fantastic Mark!

Mark responded quickly to my telephone call came within an hour to have a look and did work the following day. Renewed 3 fence posts. Hard worker kept garden tidy and removed debris.
Very reasonably priced when others were not really interested in such a small job. Would recommend and use again.

Mark has built a garden fence with gate for me at the time no other traders were interested in doing such low value work. The quality of the work and communication with Mark has been excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact, I'll be using his services again for another job in the garden.

Mark was prompt at getting back to me regarding a quote for the work to be carried out.
I agreed to the quote for installing a gate and clearing a small piece of ground, putting down membrane chips and a raised bed. However the work was very rushed which equates to it costing £50 an hour and of very poor quality and finish.

I would not recommend Muddy Boots and have arranged for another person to finish the job to an acceptable quality.

Mark was recommended to me and I was very happy with the work he carried out. He replaced our back fence, put in a front fence and side gate. He was very reasonably priced, friendly and approachable. Would use him again.

Mark was extremely reliable and kept us informed of any delays (few) caused by the very bad weather. He kept costs to the minimum and we would certanly use him again.

Replaced an old garden gate with a new one and also replaced a gate post and a fence post. Mark did a good job, was very helpful and my garden looks all the better for it. Good value for the money.

Putting in 2 x new fence posts in back garden as the original ones were coming loose and the fence was starting to fall down.

Mr Gerrard was most helpful. I originally spoke to him on the phone as I saw his name on the East Lothian Council website so I knew he could be trusted. I am very very pleased with his work and his polite manner. I would definitely recommend him to friends !!

Large hedge cut. Weeding and laying bank around base of hedge. Edging grass. Planting plants.

General gardening and tidy up. Path laid and edging put in place.

This was a general tidy up job and not a gardening project. No plan or structured timetable was required.

Custom built side gate, 5 new fence posts and gate post in rough ground: Very good at being  reasonable on timing and cost.  Recycled our old wood too.

Remove old 6' garden fence.  Install new 6' fence and gate: Reliable and value for money service.

Removal of Leylandii hedge.  Replacement with wooden fencing.  All rubbish to be removed: We were very satisfied with the standard of work which was carried out efficiently and in good time.

Taking out old fencing and shed.  Post re-attached: Very pleasant man, I would recommend.

Digging over final section of very compacted garden, prepare it for use and lay a lawn: Mark came when he said he would following a prompt reply to an email enquiry.  He advised us to use seed instead of turf with a full explanation, saving us money.  He worked diligently when here and returned 3 weeks later to check that the seed had taken and offer further advice.  We will definitely use his services in future.

Removal of some very large shrubs.  Cutting back and tidying up a few more shrubs: Mark is an extremely hard worker.  A polite and courteous man.  I was very pleased with the work done in my garden.  Highly recommend.

Dug garden over, put rails in for borders and pegs, put grass seed down: Mark kept us informed and came when arranged.  Nice person to talk to and seems to enjoy his work.  Only thing is we ordered too much materials which cost us more than it should have.
