A very prompt service. Stewart was very helpful and explained everything clearly.

Down pipe from gutters was totally blocked. Ray traced the problem, cleared it and replaced pipes as needed. Work was done to a high standard and very happy with results.

I had a leaking shower tray - it had been looked at before and ‘repaired’ but still leaked . EMS plumbing inspected the area thoroughly getting in a camera probe to identify the problem . It was a worthwhile investment. They recommended a replacement of the tray and waste andthe insertion of new shower panels over the existing tiles which was a very practical solution involving much less work .
They recommended a particular make of panel which looked really smart and when some wood framework had to be replaced beneath the tray they brought in their own man . The whole job was done over two days with the minimum disruption. They thoroughly cleaned up and left the room spotless . I was delighted with the work and thoroughly recommend EMS plumbing as l had previously had great difficulty getting the job even looked at . .

When the sewer from our old property collapsed and became blocked, Ray and the team from EMS Plumbing were fantastic.

Ray was alongside and walked us through every stage of the process from surveying the blocked pipe, clearing it enough to be usable, through the excavation of the old collapsed ceramic piping from under a concrete yard, the repair and replacement and the re-concreting of the yard once they had finished.

Ray and Garry dealt calmly and cheerfully with every complexity the job threw at them - complex re-routings, previous temporary repairs, and poor weather - even working right up until Christmas Eve to make sure that we had working drains over Christmas.

The job was completed and finished to a very high standard and within the initial estimate that Ray had made for the job. Since then we have not had any problems.

We had a cracked exterior drainage pipe and the guys located the fault quickly removing the failed pipe and replaced it back to the downpipe at the house.
All done quickly.

Water was dripping from my overflow pipe on the outside of the building. The problem was with the ballcock in the cold water tank. It wasn’t straight forward as it turned out the ballcock was at the opposite end from the only access hatch and there wasn’t enough space between the tank and the wall to get to it. Contacted them after having been let down by another firm who, after an initial visit which included taking photos & contacting their manager, said they’d need to come back with parts anyway but that someone from their office would be in touch to arrange another appointment but I then never heard from again. Called EMS Plumbing on Monday afternoon and they were able to come round the next day. Diagnosed the problem and were able to offer a solution to the access issue. Also put a temporary solution in place to stop the water overflowing until they could come back. Came back on the Saturday and fixed it. Very efficient, tidy and communication was good throughout. Would certainly use them again.

Some refurb was carried out in my main bathroom: installation of an inspection hatch, a new shower and screen fitted over the bath and good quality Multipanels put up. A new bath panel was installed using an offcut. A new shower riser replaced a broken one in my ensuite. Mike also completed a couple of joinery jobs elsewhere in the house.
I was very happy with all the work and the service both from Mike and Ray.
I was very pleased to have the work completed before Christmas and will happily use EMS again: good workmanship, friendly and reliable. I've been let down by many trades in the past but Mike and Ray were completely dependable.

I needed to get some drainage work done - Ray got back to me quickly to arrange a date to call round. He assessed what was needed and provided a quote for the work. Once started Ray kept in touch updating me as required. He explained what he was doing at every stage and I got a real sense that he took pride in his work. I would definitely use Ray again for any drainage work and would recommend him.

Cannot thank EMS enough for all the help we got about the problem with blocked drain. The drain from the waste pipe to the rear of our flat was blocked, with water starting to come up into the garden. EMS Plumbing was very helpful and talked through the problem. He arranged for another company to come out and complete the job.

Very helpful indeed. Prompt EMS response by Ray on each contact by phone. Jettings arranged at short notice, always on time, including work at week-end. Shared drainage issue - very clear identification of areas for repair by local contractor, Gary, pending agreement on assessments by insurers for claim. I would definitely use again and/or happily recommend.

The kitchen sink drain was blocked, and Ray was extremely helpful in getting a colleague (Charles Girvan) to come and fix as soon as possible - thank you!

After discovering water coming through our kitchen lights, I trawled through the Trusted Trader website with no luck until I contacted EMS Plumbing. I spoke to Ray who was initially unable to supply a plumber until the following afternoon, but within 10 mins of ending our call he called back having contacted a colleague and arranged for him to come. The plumber arrived on time, identified the leak and replaced the part. I am most grateful EMS Plumbing.
